This weekly check-in is for anyone using/considering or who has used a 3rd party method of reproduction, including: Donor egg, donor sperm, embryo adoption, gestation carrier, or surrogate - also Donors, GC's and surrogates as well! If you don't check-in for 3 weeks you'll be removed from the list but we'll happily add you back next time you check in! NOTE: Board etiquette - please post BFPs separately from the check-in, with a warning in message title.

((Hugs)) to those who need them!!

AFM: My plan to do a DE/DS cycle in March or April is lined up. Originally we planned a shared DE cycle, but it's looking like the other IP's are adopting instead, so I am in limbo in the sense that I'm not sure if we should ask the clinic to line up another couple to share the cycle with or not to share the cycle. I'll give it a few more weeks of thought and go from there.

QOTW: My DH dated three of my friends. He asked to take me out for a coffee, and this coffee loving girl told him I did not like coffee. LOL! After he continued to be persistent I thought that he couldn't be that bad of a guy if all my friends he dated, he continued his platonic friendships with them.

Hi everyone.

@mm29- I'm glad you have a plan! Maybe you'll get a discounted cycle since the other couple backed out.

AFM: I had an ultrasound today and I didn't respond to the meds this cycle, so it is cancelled. I'm not sure where we'll go from here. I feel so defeated.

QOTW: He actually was friends with my brother growing up, but I didn't know him then. We met playing softball. He's 7 years younger than me, so I wouldn't go out with him for a long time after he first asked.

Are you going to have a WTF? If so, I would ask about Vaginal Viagra. Here is an article written about it! I would also ask about a neupogen uterine wash. Here is a study written about the neupogen.

Thank you. I'm not sure about a WTF appt, the doctor said he has another plan in mind using Gonal F, Femara and Estradiol. My lining was fine. I don't know what I think though. I feel like giving up on this whole thing. Thank you for the articles, I will read through them and talk to him about it.

After reading the articles, I realized Viagra is for lining. I was doing a stimulated FET, and he needed to see at least one mature follicle to trigger today. I had nothing, but I'm DOR using donor eggs, so I don't really know why they would think I would have any mature follicles.

I guess I'm confused then. You are doing an FET right? Why do you need your ovaries to repond?

Ha! Sorry I confused you, I'm confused too! The RE called it a stimulated FET. It was supposed to go along with my natural ovulation, just ramp it up. Obviously that doesn't work for me.

@mm29‌ - I'm sorry to hear the plan is getting shaken up. But your idea to give it time to settle out is a good one. Your clinic seems to be invested in your success, so I'm curious to see how they proceed!!

@JimBobCooter‌ - so fun that you get to start working on the nursery!!!

I'm starting to get nervous about tomorrow's ultrasound. The bleeding has slowed down again, and we're going to see how things look tomorrow before starting the blood thinners again. I hope there are two strong heartbeats!! We are so attached to these two little ninjas

I'm feeling pretty good, I have waves of nausea every now and again. Our first U/S is Dec 23. We are still over the moon and still can't believe this is actually happening. We truly have been blessed! We've waited so long that I would take any symptom. EDD 8/18/15

We are all doing great, just getting ready for Christmas. We took LO to church for the first time this morning and I think no one paid attention to the pastors because they were all starting at him!

@Runcc37 my fingers are crossed all goes well with U/S.

@refeek1 all of my IVF were canceled and changed to IUI's since I never responded well to the meds, thus the different routes we have take to where we are today. Totally sux but u will figure out something. There are always options.

@mm29 thanks for taking over check-ins and spring will be here before you know it. The sharing of DE's just depends on the number of options you think you need. We did a shared DE with a donor who had donated previously, we only ended up with 3 embryos, which made me nervous, but luckily that is all we needed,

QOTW: Met my DH online in a chat room of a dating site - our profiles would never have matched as I was too old for him and he was too old for me. I was "location desirable" since he worked about 2 miles from where I lived so we decided to meet up one evening.

SAIF: Both babies are feeling much better, but it's still poopapalooza at my house. I'll take it though!

Once the load of pooped on items finishes in the wash, I'll pop it in the dryer and then finally pass out in my warm, cozy bed!!

QOTW: I was "setup" with one of DH's friends, but we only ever messaged on My Space and texted, and we quickly realized we were not even close to compatible! One day I got a message on MS from DH asking if I was the girl his friend had been talking to. I was like, who is this idiot. So, I replied something really snarky like, "Did you figure that out on your own?" lol We messaged back and forth all that day and then he called me that night. (We lived 4 hours apart.) The rest is history... It's a good thing he gets my dry, and sometimes snarky, sense of humor!

I forgot to answer the QOTD!! DH and I met in college. Were both in the same degree program, though he was a senior when I was a freshman. I thought he was so dreamy and never imagined that he'd give me the time of day. Then he put the moves on me, and I went along with it

We dated for 6 years before getting engaged (2 years), and have been married for 6 years. I love him to pieces, he is such a good man

we are growing! I have a scan in the morning, still haven't announced yet. I'm thinking I will feel more confident after this appt. & Hoping to announce on FB this weekend on our Anniversary.

I met my DH in a bar over 15 years ago. It was a swanky cigar bar in Miami. I NEVER would give my number to strangers in a bar, even if they seemed like "nice guys". I just had that rule. but anyway he seemed really down to earth.

I took a leap of faith and we went out to dinner the next evening. The next day I told my friends we would either date or be life long friends b/c we just hit it off. Within the week he kissed me & I knew we would date! And now we are about to celebrate 10 years of marriage!

Huge hugs to all that need them, it can be really a really difficult time of year for infertility. **warning** Third ultrasound at 8 weeks showed a baby measuring 7 weeks 5 days (we are consistently two days off so I think maybe a late implanter?) heart rate of 159. We have one more appointment w my RE on Christmas eve and if all is well we graduate. I'm excited but still terrified 99% of the time that it will all get taken away. QOTD. We met at a bar through two people that we both had fleeting friendships with, I knew almost right away I'd marry him, took him a little longer

Had a 7-week ultrasound this morning... TWINS! Both embryos stuck around in good spots, have healthy heartbeats, and my IPs are ecstatic. Feeling good, some nausea and food just doesn't sound good, but I'm over the moon happy for my IPs.

My husband and I knew each other in HS, then 15 years later connected on FB and had a "play date" for our girls over Christmas break when he was in town. He moved back to town a week later and we've been together six years.

I had my third u/s yesterday at 9w3d. Measuring right on track and hb of 169! They informed me that they'll be doing the panorama, which I hadn't known until then. I hadn't anticipated finding out the sex, but knowing I can find out a lot sooner, it's become more thrilling! Dec 29th will be my final appt if all goes well!

Check-In: Embryo on board! I'm 4dp6dt today! I have a constant headache for the past two days and cramps. Nothing terrible but definitely crampy.....I hope it's the good cramps.

The donor eggs cycle didnt really go as I anticipated. It a lot more stressful than I wished for it to be. Our transfer was delayed by 1.25h because of PGS biopsy not coming back on time. The not knowing anything was just brutal. We only had 2 embryos to test out of 5 mature eggs that we received as our share. We managed to freeze one and transfer one.

QOTW: We met through some mutual friends. Our 10 year anniversary is next year. I really hope to be pregnant by then!!!
