HEY! Just wanted to poke my head in as a new member. I've been a part of the bump under two separate screen names, both given up with my first loss in may at 9 weeks and the other with my second loss in October at 12 weeks- just too tough to keep up with the fruit measurements when there was no longer a bun in the oven to squeal over. I promise to pep up my new alias with an avatar so I'm more recognizable ASAP, when I can grow the balls to access the bump directly without getting triggered (for now I just load the TTCAL blog directly from mobile.)
Both miscarraiges were missed with no indication anything was wrong until an ultrasound, but my losses have hardened both mine and my husbands resolve to keep trying. I had the gammet of blood work and fetal testing run to show no major issues causing the miscarraiges other than shitty luck. I wish I could say this helps me feel better, but it still worries me for next time.
I was super active in the April '15 board- almost a little too active- so I may be in and out here (just a silly superstition:"maybe I should act differently next time!"), but wanted to say hi and let you ladies know you have been my savior after each of my losses. Looking at a Facebook feed full of friends complaining about no sleep because of their newborns or having your inner circle all deliver healthy kiddos in the last six month period has made it difficult to keep my shit together, and I've found refuge in lurking on these threads; it truly is helpful to feel I'm not alone in my loss or journey to move forward.
