Car seat straps

we have the Graco Snugride and there are four levels for the straps. We had it at the lowest level but LO is big enough now that the straps really needed to be moved up. The manual for the seat doesn't include info on where the straps should be in relation to baby's shoulders. Shoukd they be level? Just below? Just above? Anyone know?

    Rear facing you always want straps at or below the shoulders. Chest strap should always be at armpit level.
    Forward facing the straps should be just above the shoulders. This is per my Police friends. :smile:

    We just moved ours as well as take the infant insert out. I can't believe she is growing so fast!!

    What they all said. We had to take the infant insert out too because it's only supposed to be used between 7 -11 lbs (chicco keyfit 30). The shoulder straps are still in the lowest notch.

    Are you supposed to leave the head support in? I couldn't find an actual answer in the manual unless I missed it
