GTKY: What was your first car? 1992 ford Taurus. I love that car! It would stall at stop lights so you had to rev the engine and put it in neutral. I always said if anyone stole it they would not get far because they didn’t know how to drive her!

Also, I remembered to temp first thing this morning while still in bed. That's 2 days running! Go me! Also, my not knock-off Wondofo OPKs and Preg tests arrived today. Did my first OPK, got a line lighter than the control.
GTKY: What was your first car? Toyota Corolla. I bought it on July 7, 2008 and still own it today. His name is Captain Jack and he was the first car I ever bought. His starter makes a funny noise on cold mornings, and I have dinged up both bumpers, and he's been keyed a couple of times... but he's going strong!

What you're doing: BBT, OPKs, Monitoring CM, EOD/ED Sex
Rants, raves, thoughts, questions, chart stalks: You guys! I got for-real-no-doubt-about-it positive OPKs this morning and this afternoon. The results were so obvious that I feel like a fool for thinking that my "basically the same shade as the control line" OPKs were positives. Now that I know what a real positive looks like for me (i.e. *way* darker than the control line), I won't make that mistake again. Yay!
With that said, thank you all for encouraging me to temp. If I hadn't, I would have never known that my original "positive" OPKs never actualized into ovulation, and I would have stopped the ED/EOD sex far too early, possibly missing the FW. So, if I get pregnant this cycle, I truly have you all to thank.
GTKY: What was your first car? A 1982 Cadillac Seville...my first car was older than me! I realize now that I was a total brat at the time, but I really hated that car, despite the fact that it was given to me as a gift. It looked exactly like this:

I am new here. I have been lurking the boards for a couple months and decided it was time to introduce myself. I have been off bcp for 6 months and my husband is FINALLY ready to try. This will be our first. Of course, he was surprised when I didn't get a bfp this month. I had him watch The Great Sperm Race a couple days ago and I think that helped him have more realistic expectations. Last month, I used OPK'S. After learning from the boards, I ordered a bbt and started temping last week. (Just to get in the habit) I will start charting tomorrow. I wish I would have started charting today, but I was waiting for AF...I expected to start tomorrow. Well, she is here now...and she brought horrible cramps with her! Thank goodness for Chocolate and wine! Anyway, nice to meet everyone. I'm looking forward to being a part of the boards. I promise I won't ask anyone if I'm pregnant ...ever! Lol

GTKY: I was a daddy's girl and very spoiled in High School. My first car was a brand new Mercedes CLK cabriolet that my dad completely surprised me with. I got it with 26 miles and put 200k on her in 8 years. I loved that car, and I was devastated when they told me she was totaled. I was t-boned at an intersection. I will probably never have a car like that again. I definitely didn't deserve it, and probably didn't really appreciate it as much as I should have. Now, I drive a Kia optima and I love it, too.

Rants, raves, thoughts, questions, chart stalks: I haven't tempted in a couple months and I have had a 28 day cycle. I start to tempt and seem to not ovulate until CD 16 or 17. What's up with that?
GTKY: What was your first car? A ford tempo. The automatic passenger seatbelt was stuck and made an annoying sound. I would hear it in my sleep!
Also edited to change my CD. I'm all over the place. Ugh this month has been difficult.

Thanks @mandy522. I was more bitching that I feel like I'm Oing later with tempting than when I'm not tempting. Tempting seems like it stresses me out a little so I'm wondering if it's delaying my O. I know that sounds a little crazy.

Thanks @cateyes543 I never really thought about that. I still tracked my cycle days on FF after I stopped tempting so it could be possible. I just wished I didn't have the sub-conscience anxiety with tempting. It's my first month back into tempting so we shall see how it goes.
CD:11 I'm just hoping I catch any signs my body throws at me, I'd like to know for sure when I O. I watched for CM for a while, last year, and I know the eggwhite stage was always there, but I never once kept track of when.
What you're doing: OPK's will be here tomorrow so I have something to pee on in a few days. Ok a week. Watching CM, temping. No idea yet how to judge CPosition. Not a clue.

Rants, raves, thoughts, questions, chart stalks: Yesterday I had a ton of EW, I'm assuming it was an estrogen spike, nothing today, I had a hard night last night, today I feel very depressed, I'm hoping tomorrow is a better day.
GTKY: What was your first car?A seriously busted up gray Nissan truck. No A/C, the passenger side door was smashed in and never opened, there was no knob to roll the window down so I had to use pliers, it had no muffler but you could hear me a mile away. I don't miss it but I am very grateful for it.
I am on antidepressants and notice a difference in my libido, it is definitely worth it for him to talk to his doctor and see if they can find a different med for him that won't inhibit him finishing. Worst case scenario is that maybe he switches to an anti-anxiety (that doesn't mess with libido) and stops the anti-depressant until you conceive, as long as his mood is stable.
My heart goes out to you, I really feel your pain, feel free to PM if you want to talk more.
