Trouble TTC

Thank you.

I just wanted to say thank you to all the supporting women on this board.  I haven't been on the board for about a month because I am a new head basketball coach and didn't quite realize how time consuming it is.  But, on my lunch breaks when I'm not doing a scouting report, I come to lurk quickly.  I am proud to say I was a part of your group because this board really does help people cope with the extreme difficulties that come with infertility.  I pray that each of you finds success in your journeys sooner rather than later.  Again, thank you for how you have helped me.  I will not be coming back to this board, but wanted to know you did make a difference in my life.

Re: Thank you.

  • Wait why won't you be back? I'm confused. If you have a BFP like @amlrunner said you should update your post to warn everyone.

  • I have not been on lately enough to warrant announcing anything.  Like I said, I haven't been on because I do not have the time.  I simply wanted to say thanks to all the ladies who were there when I needed them.  Don't read too much into anything, or question motives if you don't know.  The ones who were there for me deserve to hear that they made a difference for me and many others.  Sorry to start something if I did, was just being appreciative.

It's a public thread on our 3T community. It's meant for everyone. Either you're KU, or you wrote a thread that clearly makes everyone think you're KU. Therefore, either clarify that you're not KU, or add a BFP warning.

The idea behind no BFP announcements from inactive (as in, no posts since mid-October) members is to avoid people having to read BFPs that they don't want to read. A "BFP" post without the word "BFP" but also without the warning "BFP" doesn't help that issue, and only makes it worse because not everyone who read this post would have wanted to read it.

BTW, as soon as I saw the thread title "thank you" I assumed it would be a BFP and was prepared to gently remind the poster to add a warning.

    Congrats. :)

  • Maybe I'm confused, but did you get the BFP? If so congrats! If not then it's nice to thank the people around for their support. In general I think most people know they are being supportive and helpful being here. We don't always need recognition. All the best either way!
