So, water broke around 11am yesterday in my OBs office. Walked right to the hospital to be admitted. We were doing great initially, OB wanted me to get the Epidural nice and early to ensure I didn't miss my window and not go thru pain. And well, it slowed things way down. Here I am, 7am, they started Pit at midnight, and still no baby. Getting very anxious, bored and restless. Hoping I don't end up needing a csec. Will keep all you lovelys posted
***HE'S HERE!!***
So things didn't go as planned for this mamma. After 33 hours of labor and very slow progression, we ended up going for a Csec. I became exhausted and was only at 8cm and knew we had a long way to go with the way I progressing. He was wedged in my pelvis and doctor said even when it was time to push it would likely take hours and need vac assist. At that point we decided Csec was a better route. Of course I am a bit sad because I said since day one I want a vaginal delivery but this was best for all of us.
So Roman Blake graced us with us with his presence on 12-13-14 at 7lbs 7oz 19.5 inches at 7pm! (Lucky number 7's!) at 38+6.
We are madly in love and he is perfect in every way!
