GRRR YOU BP

So my BP has been elevated lately. My drs. Have been watching it and now watching it closer since it has started spiking up slightly higher. I have tested negative for pre-e throughout the pregnancy. Anyways it seems my BP likes to spike up when I am laying down. I noticed while watching the movie Snitch my vision was a little blurred and I feel shortness of breath slightly and shaky(maybe triggered by the movie?), I just had more water and sitting up for a few to see if it helps. My wrist BP machine says 146/88 so hopfully it drops... If not I will page the dr on call but really dont want to go back to L&D again.

Anyways after this long rant, I'm not asking for anything except random funny things to help lighten my mood. Maybe it will help calm me down. Lol

  • Oh my I will have to check it out
  • Loading the player...
  • Pinterest humor section is fantastic. :)
  • I litterally just read the hospital bag thread that I was originally avoiding but I read it backwards. Hah.
  • I'm not short of breath and a little more relaxed so that is a good sign. :-) Now, if BP would drop then I'd be great.
  • I finally got my husband to bring all the Christmas boxes down from the attic. And it turns out our "new" cat thinks artificial trees are tasty and worth trying to climb ;-) might be a while before it gets ornaments...
    Pregnancy Ticker
  • I'm mobile so no funny gifs or images but I am right there with you. I had high BP before my first pregnancy. Avoided pre-e but was induced at 39w to be safe. This pregnancy I've always had great readings (think 110/60) thanks to a strict diet and more exercise. Ever since my 36w appt Friday, it's been close to 144/90. Hope yours goes down!!

  • Mine is bumping up, too... 140s/80-90s padt several days. I am going to make sure I get more protein in my diet to see if that helps....
    Pregnancy Ticker
  • Yea mine had been high prior to pregnancy but throughout the pregnancy it was mostly good but with hiccups throughout. Since weeks 33-34 it started spiking. The way the dr talks they may not let me go past 38-39 weeks
