Baby Music

Starting in the new year, when I go back to work, I'm going to have a hour long commute with LO.

I'd like to get some baby CDs for the long car ride, but would love doe them to not just be baby songs...does that make sense?

Anyone have recommendations of music for the LO that won't drive her mama crazy?

I make the baby listen to what I have deemed baby - friendly favorites of my own. So we listen to the shins, belle & sebastian, and a good amount of classical. No complaints yet.

I decided the only way I will survive the first trimester is if I listen to Taylor swift the entire time. I ask baby each time we get it the car what she wants and she never objects.

We listen to Rockabye Pearl Jam and Rockabye Bob Marley quite a bit but honestly I think she likes regular music just as much - just whatever is on my iPod or radio.

DS (now age 2) has listened to OK Go & Vampire Weekend since I can remember.

I always thought I'd be having my kids listen to classical music... Nope, rock and alternative.
