Intro (Siggy Warning - Kids Mentioned)

Hi there! I've been spending most of my time on TB on the TTC >35 board while lurking other boards too, but wanted to "meet" ladies here as well. I'm pretty sure I'll be here awhile! It's been almost 3 years now since my TR and we started trying. We switched to NTNP for about 6 months before our wedding May 2014. I have my first RE appt in February. I am currently under my TR doc's care taking Clomid, but no US or any of that at this time. 
Temping, charting, OPKs, and plenty of TI....and nada! Why more after four? Simple answer, they're biologically my four and DH has none. I would love to give him that one thing which has eluded him for so long! (1st wife suffered from PCOS IF, and it just never happened for them)
We will see what happens then. Frankly, I'm ready to move on to IUI (we won't do IVF for financial reasons) while we still have time. We decided to give it until our bdays next November, and if it hasn't happened then we are done.

    Son: Jackson, 11/02/06, stillborn due to PPROM and IUGR. Over the next ten years we had 9 miscarriages from 8-14 weeks. On May 18, 2016 my daughter, Ridley, was born. We're OADNBC.

    Thanks for the welcome and the advice! I will see how this cycle turns out and then when I report back to my TR doc, I'll ask his thoughts on the necessity of the u/s, or if blood work is needed. I trust him and his expertise implicitly. I know Clomid is something that, like anything, has different outcomes for many. I'm just hoping for the baby/babies! :-)

    I'm really surprised that this post hasn't been torched. OP, you are playing Russian Roulette with your fertility. It's serious business. Please stop with the Clomid until you get a proper doc to that cares more about your health than his pockets.

    Again thanks for the advice. I can't UNTAKE the Clomid that I've already taken, so honestly that's a moot point. Again, I trust the doctor completely and his fertility expertise in this matter (and he is getting no additional monies from me nor insurance for his post TR fertility services).
    I'm still in my TWW, I will see if AF shows up. Then I will discuss with the DOCTOR what my next steps in MY TTC journey will be. I've researched just as many good/no problem unmonitored Clomid cycles as problematic unmonitored cycles. 
    I come here to support others and be supported, and all dialogue is welcome. But must I be "torched" if my journey is different?
