I'm sorry you're going through this. Unfortunately, there's not much to do about it. Call your doctor and if you are having enough bleeding to fill a pad in less than an hour or cramps so bad you need pain meds, go to the ER.
Son: Jackson, 11/02/06, stillborn due to PPROM and IUGR. Over the next ten years we had 9 miscarriages from 8-14 weeks. On May 18, 2016 my daughter, Ridley, was born. We're OADNBC.
Sorry, I'm new here and never done this before, wasn't sure where to post questions. Thanks for ansering me though, although its not the answer I was hoping for.
Everyone is going to have different experiences but I went through the same thing (cramps, bleeding heavily, faint line on pregnancy test) about 3 weeks ago and it ended up being a chemical pregnancy. Take care of yourself.
I'd only call to be seen if you are bleeding through a pad an hour for multiple hours, or if the pain gets extreme. Also, if the bleeding doesn't stop after a standard period amount of time. This was my Dr's criteria for me with my cp, otherwise there isn't anything they can do. It doesn't hurt to give them a call and let them know about it, but I wouldn't expect they'd need to see you.
What would calling her doctor ASAP do? If it is a CP or miscarriage, her doctor can do nothing. OP, I'm very sorry this is happening to you.

This was shitty advice. Her doctor should be informed as to whats going on in case s/he wants to track hcg to zero and make sure nothing was left behind in the uterus. It's also something that should be on record.

when I was pregnant and spotting I called the doctor the same day. I think it's reasonable and in this case it is heavy bleeding.
