    Week/Fruit: 33/no idea

    How are you feeling? Baby is head down and now I'm soooo uncomfortable! I was feeling great, but now I'm achy and tired. I knew it couldn't last for much longer.

    Appointments/updates?: OB this week, and an ultrasound. Baby is head down, heart rate, etc looks great. Baby is measuring a week ahead which is great since I'm being given extra scans in case of iugr. The tech said she looked about 4.5lbs. I can't wait to see her!

    Bought/received?: well my SIL sent us a box of garbage (see rant on j15page).

    Rants/Raves: see SIL rant/garbage box.

    Gtky: my favorite part is making elaborate, tasty meals for friends and family. We have friends in town this weekend so we're making a roast duck with the trimmings for dinner. Yum!

Neither are the odd looks I get from people while I chew my ice. GTKY: What is your favorite Christmas/holiday tradition ?? Are there any new ones you plan on starting with this LO? Can't think of any traditions. I'm going to start the 12 days of Christmas book countdown with my two boys. I know it's supposed to be 25 days, but dang that's a lot of Christmas books. We are huge readers and have tons of books already. I bought a multi-pack of holiday books from my son's preschool that had maybe 8, then supplemented with a few more. I actually need to go and wrap them right one bc if my calculations are correct, we should start opening them tonight to get through to Christmas Eve.

    How are you feeling? Tired of being asked how I'm feeling :)

    Appointments/Updates? Had GBS test on Thursday. Appointments are every week now.

    Have you bought/received anything for the baby recently? Bassinet, boppy, thermometer, and some other stuff left on the registry.

    GTKY: What is your favorite Christmas/holiday tradition ?? Are there any new ones you plan on starting with this LO? PJs on Christmas Eve and when he can read/doesn't believe in Santa anymore I want to hide his presents and send him on a scavenger hunt. My
    Mom used to do that for us and it was so much fun.

    Week/Fruit: 36 tomorrow/honeydew

    How are you feeling? Like a huge pinata ready to burst.

    Appointments/Updates? 1Cm dialated since Monday. BP is being watched closely(it is elevated). Contractions but very mild and not fully consistent now. Evms appt this monday, BF class w/wic Tues. Obgyn appt Wed.

    Have you bought/received anything for the baby recently? Baby bathtub

    Rants/Raves: rave- my oldest son turns 10 on Friday.
    Rant- I want 1 night of amazing sleep without waking up from DD kicking or contractions. Please?
    GTKY: What is your favorite Christmas/holiday tradition ?? Driving around looking at Christmas lights. Are there any new ones you plan on starting with this LO? We are currently discussing new traditions

    Like a turkey... Stuffed to the max and like my hips are going to snap in half like the wish bone
    Appointments/Updates? Just had one lost 7kgs he wasnt pleased sugar is still high got lectured again... Off to thw dietician for me .. Had a 3d ultrasound and omg he is perfect! First. One i have ever had! They did not have such things when i had my girls.

    Have you bought/received anything for the baby recently? Nope but i should get on that i dont think he is going to stay put much longer

    Rants/Raves: rants... Im so over being pregnant. Raves ...my son is the boy of my dreams! He is perfect :)

    GTKY: What is your favorite Christmas/holiday tradition ?? Are there any new ones you plan on starting with this LO?
    I just love xmas eve the kids in their new jammies, xmas movies playing snacks and excitement leaving cookies for santa ... Cant wait

    How are you feeling?i feel fat and ready for Joshua to come out!

    Appointments/Updates? My 36 week appointment is on Tuesday morning. Josh dropped 5 days ago so hopefully he will come at least a days early.

    Have you bought/received anything for the baby recently? I was given another bouncer amd a mamaru last week. My Dad just told me they bought a changing table for us.

    I don't have any, skipping getting a tree this year since close to my due date. Relaxing with my hubby for Christmas. I'm sure we will start new traditions for Joshua next year.

    Rants/Raves: I need 12 more hours in the day to get some stuff done and some extra sleep!!!

    GTKY: What is your favorite Christmas/holiday tradition ?? Are there any new ones you plan on starting with this LO?
    New pj's in Christmas Eve...with my parents hosting my DH's parents and siblings so we are all together. We also cut our tree down the day after Thanksgiving then go to brunch. Christmas night everyone goes to my cousins house for dessert and a super fun gift swap.

    Week 35/Pineapple(I think)

    I'm over ppl at work asking if I'm tired cause I look tired. Hell yes I'm tired. I work 12hr shirfts at the hospital. Who wouldn't be tired at 35wks working that long.

    Appt. on 12/22. I'll be having the works. Step B. Growth scan, heart monitor. Probably will be a 2hr appointment.

    Haven't bought anything this week.

    Rave-none.
    Rant- My patients and/or their family members will ask me about my pregnancy. I find it annoying and weird.

    I started a ginger bread making party with my godson and niece during Christmas week last yr. We are doing it Christmas eve this year. We keep it going when LO comes.

    Week/Fruit: 34 weeks / Butternut squash How are you feeling? Been feeling pretty crappy the last couple of days. Been having issues with my tummy not feeling too great, not contractions more like sick to my stomach. Ick! Appointments/Updates? Next appointment in this coming Thursday - looking forward to hearing heartbeat and kind of looking forward to when we go to to the weekly appointments which won't happen until after Christmas. Have you bought/received anything for the baby recently? Nope - my work is having a shower for me on Monday though - if I can feel good and make it to the shower Rants/Raves: Rant: I hate feeling sick to my stomach - feel so guilty about not being able to do all the things I want to accomplish. I feel really bad for DH right now because I'm just worthless - fortunately had the ability to do the laundry at least today despite feeling pretty cruddy. Rave: I love my DH. He has been awesome and just been such a supportive man during this whole pregnancy. GTKY: What is your favorite Christmas/holiday tradition ?? Are there any new ones you plan on starting with this LO? I love watching White Christmas - used to watch every year with my mom. Not sure if I can watch with her this year since she'll just be visiting briefly but DH will be watching it with me. I can't make it through it without crying. New traditions for LO, no idea! I feel like she'll hopefully be here after this year's holidays so I have a full year to com up with ideas.

    How are you feeling?
    Working is starting to make me really tired. I hate my 12 hour shifts. Also, started having this off/on cramping feeling (not like contractions though, feels more like period cramps) and it's really annoying.
    Appointments/Updates? 
    I have an appointment Tuesday afternoon. Then it's weekly from here on out.
    Have you bought/received anything for the baby recently? 
    I got the coolest stroller bag from 31 today. It's a big mesh pouch with little pockets at the top and our last name embroidered on it. It's got clip loops on each side to hang from the handlebar.
    Rants/Raves: 
    When my husband wants to help and then half-ass helps so I end up having to do it all myself anyways and then he gets really grumpy. Hence why I was standing on a chair on my porch hanging christmas lights by myself last night.
    GTKY: What is your favorite Christmas/holiday tradition ?? Are there any new ones you plan on starting with this LO?
    We were really "un-christmas-y" growing up. I don't have any traditions that I can think of at all. I do like the idea of everyone getting one present on Christmas Eve to open. I'll have to keep brainstorming some more. haha

    How are you feeling?  Not bad, just big & uncomfortable- and emotional!  I laugh/cry at the drop of a hat!

    Appointments/Updates?  Will have 36 week appointment on 12/22 with GBS test.  Then every week after that.

    Have you bought/received anything for the baby recently? We went to Buy Buy Baby today to return some stuff and we got the last few items left on our registry.

    Rants/Raves: Just getting tired of not being able to sleep.... ever....

    GTKY: What is your favorite Christmas/holiday tradition ?? Are there any new ones you plan on starting with this LO?No one tradition in particular- I love everything about Christmas!  Not sure if we will do anything different next year with Baby- I'm just looking forward to him being here next year :)
