Hello Ladies! Intro

Hello!

I have been lurking around here for the last couple months and figured it was finally time to jump in and participate!

A little info about me: Went of BC in February with the hope of figuring out my cycles and starting to TTC in the fall. Through charting BBT, I noticed that my cycles were long (~35 days) and I was ovulating late (~CD25) and having a short luteal phase (~9-10 days). My OB wasn't worried and basically dismissed my concerns (shocking, I know!).

We started seriously TTC in September and were shocked to get a BFP the first month! My happiness quickly turned to worry because I started spotting almost as soon as I got my BPF. OB diagnosed me with a "threatened miscarriage" and I ended up losing the baby at about 6 weeks on 10/13/14. It took another 6 weeks for my HCG to drop back down to 0. The doctor was worried about a possible ectopic and was about to give me an MTX shot, when my HCG finally dropped back down on its own (thankfully!). I just switched to a new (and much better!) OB and had CD3 testing done to rule out PCOS & hypothyroidism and everything came back normal, so I've decided to give it another 6 months or so before moving on to an RE for more testing.

I have received so much comfort and knowledge through reading these boards over the last 3 months. I am so thankful for you all; it really helps to know I'm not alone on this roller coaster journey I'm looking forward to participating and getting to know you girls!
