AW: We put an offer in on a house!

So we recently relocated across the country to be closer to our families.  We've been renting since we got here but have been looking at houses. Tonight we saw our dream house, AND it's in our price range.  So, we put an offer in!!!  Only problem is someone else did as well.  So, we'll see how this turns out, but really hoping this is the house for us.  So fingers crossed this all works out (I could use something to occupy me in the dreaded 2WW!).

Off BC 1/2013 TTC (actively) since 5/2013
5/2014 started testing with RE, me:  HSG normal, normal AMH, no cysts; DH: great sperm
Unexplained IF + unexplained anovulation (post-pill vs hypothalamic)

8/2014 Clomid (monitored) + TI: BFP #1: 9/12/2014, EDD 5/22/2015, MMC 10/11/2014 8w1d

    FX!  I hope you get it!  A friend of mine went through a similar situation and her realtor advised her to write a letter to the owners explaining why they wanted it.  They ended up getting it even though their offer was lower than the other couple's.

    Thanks guys!  We're still waiting to hear today (apparently there are a total of three offers on the house), but I'm still hopeful!  New houses are fun.  I've already been trying to think about how my furniture would fit (or what new things I might need to buy!)

    So it's looking like we may actually get the house!  They're countering back but right now ours is the only one of the three offers they're considering.  So FX it all works out.  We weren't planning to buy yet (Christmas time is not exactly ideal for buying/moving) but couldn't let this house get away.

    I agree @yorkielove83, it is so exciting but also stressful!  I keep thinking we must be nuts to be spending money on a house around the holidays.  Hope everything works out for you!

    That's a great idea!  When we sold our last house we knew the story behind the buyers which made us more likely to accept their offer.

    Such a toss up!  At least this has totally distracted me from the 2WW.  I'm doing less obsessive chart and symptom analyzing :)

    We're in the process of buying a house too!! I'm very indecisive so this Thursday my realtor and I are looking at 14 houses! Ahh.

    Good luck!!
    Together since April 2004.  Married since June 19th, 2010.
     BFP #1: January 31st 2012: CP. 
     BFP #2: June 1st 2012, Due:2/8/13. Avery was born via unplanned c section on 2/13/13. 
     BFP #3: Sept. 25th, 2014. Due: 6/5/15.  MMC on 10/23/14. Confirmed complete molar pregnancy per D&C 10/29/14, 
    HCG officially negative 12/10/14.  Benched until June 2015.
