My first scan feels soooo long away

hi everyone I'm new on here I'm just over 7weeks pregnent with my 2nd baby, my first born is 5 & 1/2 years old so it's been awhile since I was last pregnent & hard to remember my early symptoms.
I feel like a fake at the moment apart from being so tired & wanting to eat loads I keep having to pee on sticks to check I really am pregnent- I only look like I show on an evening when I get terribly bloated ness which is awful as I'm at work on an evening & I just want to be home in some comfy.
I worry something is wrong & I'm so desperate to know everything is ok & baby is developing normally I'm so desperate for a scan & check baby is really there anybody else feel like this? I thought it would be a little less worry 2nd time round but I think I'm more worried than when I had my little boy. I had a miscarriage when I first started trying for my little boy & these early stages brings that memory back I am so scared.

    I feel you! I'm still trying to get an OB, I feel like it is going to take forever for me to have my first scan. I'm 7W4D and I'm so anxious to know everything is ok! I haven't been crazy sick but when I feel good I wish I was sick just so I know that I'm still pregnant but when I feel sick I feel like and idiot for ever wishing I was sick! haha

    I understand. I don't have my first appointment where I will hear the heartbeat for three more weeks. Just try to not think about it and not get stressed. There isn't anything you can do until the appointment, so just try to find things to take your mind off of it things to relax you.

    Right there with ya. I have zero symptoms except I'm exhausted and my boobs are sore. My first appointment isn't for another 2 weeks yet and I can't remember if I'll get a scan or not, but my Dr has a portable machine and I may ask him if we can get a peek anyway. This is our 3rd and I've had the same Dr for my other 2 as well. He's really nice and will probably indulge me.

    I've had like a yacky feeling but not like I'm going to be sick even in my first pregnancy I was never sick. I'm so glad some one else feels the same it's driving me insane I just want to know all is ok. I don't see a midwife for my first appointment for another 2 weeks!!
    But I've seen people on here that have a first scan at 7weeks to check for the heartbeat we have to wait until 12 weeks unless you go private & pay which I can't afford not at this time of year! P.s congratulations on your news bet we'll due same time as each other if all goes well

    You are not alone. My ob could not get me in until January 13th.I'm not even sure I'll get an ultra sound then and I'll be 13ish weeks by then.

    I have my first midwife appointment next week at 8 weeks but won't have a scan for another 12 weeks, probably in March. I know it is hard to wait but I keep reassuring myself that everything is ok today

    This! So true. I had my first scan at 9 weeks and I remember feeling the way you guys did! It felt like forever away!! I saw the baby wiggling around and saw the heartbeat but didn't get to hear it. I felt amazing for like 3 days and the worry slowly creeps back as I was informed I won't have another scan until 20 weeks for the gender. Once again the wait begins! Enjoy the ride ladies, even though it definitely has its rough patches :)
