Where did you install your car seat?

So I just read a disturbing story about an infant death in an improperly secured car seat.  On the story there was a link to buckleupforlife.org, I watched one of the videos and they recommended to install the car seat in the middle of the back seat.  I didn't even know this was the best option.  We had the firemen at our local station check it out and they never mentioned this, ours is on the back passenger side.  
I'm wondering where everyone has their car seat installed? Should I worry about moving it to the middle?

    I plan on going to AAA to have them install our car seat.
