Welcome to the TTFAS AL check-in. This check-in is for TTCAL-ers with living children to talk about the issues about TTCAL while you have a living child. Living children and pictures of living children are welcome here, however if your pictured child is an infant (< a year old), please do place a warning at the beginning of your post to alert ladies who are having a hard day. Please remember to post an intro on the main board as we are all here to TTC a sibling!

Just as a side note, those who do not have an EDD listed it is because it was not posted in your intro or on your siggy. As each of our angels dates are important to each of us I did not want to “guesstimate” and post inaccurate information. If you wish to keep it unlisted that is fine, just keep us updated if a particular anniversary is coming up so we can all send extra love your way.

Happy Tuesday!

We decided somewhat last minute to start our FET then after 2 weeks we cancelled because the meds were making me crazy and I wasn't feeling ready to deal with it all. So 10 days of provera later AF finally showed up, I'm hoping things get back to normal soon. We are planning a natural FET cycle in January.

QOTW: We are so disorganized this year, we don't have lights up or a tree or anything! We only got very small things for him because we're trying to save money and he's only 1 so he doesn't really know what's going on anyway (I don't think. . .)

Thanks for doing the check in @incir‌ . How are things with you? Life is pretty crazy for me right now, DH just flew across our beautiful country for work, and I'm joining him (flying out Thursday evening after dropping DD with my mom), and we return on the red eye on Sunday. We were hoping to extend the trip- but my fibroid removal surgery is the 16th, so no buenos. I'm so anxious/excited/petrified. Anxious for it to be over with, excited to finally have the believed cause for my losses eliminated, but petrified something we'll go wrong, as its a complicated surgery in order to least impact my fertility.

@BootsOrHearts -- So sorry that the FET didn't work out this time but fingers crossed that January is the ticket. I totally agree that a 1 year old won't care what his Christmas presents are. By far the most played with thing from my son's first Christmas were the plastic spoons we put in his stocking.

@mrandmrsk91011 -- I hope your H gets on board soon and you can burn the bench! I admire your patience in waiting for him to be ready. Let us know what your DD does with the toy box. Hiding seems like it could be fun.

@angie9661 -- Enjoy your two days off even if they are in the snow! I agree that taking Clomid with no monitoring is not a good idea. Good luck with the new OB.

@LauraO11 -- Enjoy your vacation with the hubs! I'll be thinking about your surgery and hoping its the ticket to stop your losses.

@oopsiedaisies -- Intense fitness program sounds awesome! And so does a ride on Minnie Mouse. Our house is way too small for ride on toys but they always seem like they would be so much fun.

@BethAndBen -- I'm so sorry for your loss. I've added it to the check-in list. Give yourself time to heal before making any decisions on TTC again or not. We had originally planned to be OAD but changed our minds and after our loss DH brought up the idea of just stopping. I'm not ready to, and neither is he really, but it was good to remember that we did originally see advantages in having an only child. Either way you decide you will have a great family. It just sucks that we all can't have the number of children we want when we want them.

As for me: not much new to report on the TTC front. We are NTNP at the moment. The holidays are fast approaching. We celebrate both Hanukkah and Christmas so its a lot to prep for. Luckily it means we don't decorate the house at all. We've bought DS an indoor bowling set I'm excited about. His play room is long and skinny so it should work out well.

@incir, thank you for running this check-in. Sorry I wasn't around yesterday, I was home sick. I promise to do better next week!!

AFM, I'm currently waiting to O but being sick has majorly screwed up my chart. I haven't had any EWCM, so I don't think I've O'd yet. I just hope I can start feeling better and we'll still have a shot this month.

We aren't doing a very good job preparing for Christmas. We have a tree but haven't decorated it yet. I've been working a lot of OT and now I'm sick. We are getting DS a tool bench for Christmas. I think he'll really love it.

I'm way late, but thanks @incir‌ for the check in. I finally am done with having weekly HCG draws. It was less than 5 this week, so now I go to having it checked monthly for the next 6 months to make sure it stays negative. If it does, we'll get the green light to start TTC again in June.

QOTW I finished most of my Christmas shopping done today. I'm most excited for DD to open her new play kitchen and her new baby doll. She's going to love them.
