Gift for 8 yr old boy?

Help please!  My kids have a cousin who lives across the country on the west coast.  We exchange gifts as families.  The boy is 8 years old, and seems to have everything.  He plays football, and that's all I really know about him.  I bought him a hexbug for his birthday last month.  Any ideas for what I can send him for the holiday?

    Ditto Legos.  They're a consistent winner with that age range. 

    Books or gift card to Target, Best Buy, Barnes & Noble, or TRU is also cool.  My kids never feel ripped off when they get a gift card.  On the contrary -- they LOVE it!

    My nephew is 8 and asked for no Legos this year.  :(  He is into the Spy Gear stuff at Target right now.

    Ditto Minecraft and Legos. DS1 got Battleship game for his 7th bday and loves it!!!
