hi ladies!
I'm a super young mom and I was just wondering if there are any other younger moms on here that can relate to me! I'm 19, I was a sophomore in college, obviously this was unplanned but I couldn't be happier!
So let me know if you're in a similar situation Id love to hear
Re: Young mommy
I can't completely relate because I got married at 19 and planned my first pregnancy at 20. So on the unplanned part I can't say much. But from the public eye stand point I can relate. I was always the youngest at all the mommy meet up groups and felt looked down on. I've gotten nasty comments from strangers about how my husband and I tried to grow up too quickly and stuff like "kids raising kids" comments. But you toughen up quick and realize other people's opinions don't matter. Just do your best as a mom and you will be just fine.
Edited because my phone makes up it's own words
My biggest thing since I had my son was making sure he was never an excuse as to why I didn't accomplish something, rather he's been my driving force why I push myself to suceed. Its great your SO is supportive, I hope your family is too!
I agree, I dropped out of school had my daughter went back to high school at 19, then went in and have a bachelor of design. Make sure you finish your school or whatever it is you are doing. Child is huge driving force to succeed and prove any nay Sayers wrong. I had a old man in a shop tell me I was "fucking disgusting" because I was 7 months pregnant. I told him " your fucking disgusting, look at your rotten beer guts! Least mine is natural" and you have to be strong like that because everyone has to have and feel the need to voice their opinions. Who cares what they think

Edited because English is hard.
PPs have given wonderful advice; make this baby your reason to accomplish everything you wanted before you were pregnant.
My MIL had DH when she was barely 17. She dropped out of high school and against all odds managed to provide a really good life for him. To this day she regrets never finishing high school and has tried to fit in doing her credits after work but hasn't been able to yet. She adores DH more than anything in the world and would not change what happened, but she has said many times she wished she was able to find a way to stay in school.
Best of luck to you!!
IT'S A BOY!

Likely to arrive via induction or c-sec 1-2 weeks early
Have you checked into what your school does for pregnancy/babies for students? Mine offers free daycare (the students majoring in childcare get experience) and my professors are extremely helpful with anything I need. Since I'm due the weekend before finals week all my professors have agreed to let me either take my finals early or wait till I'm ready after the baby to take them, totally up to me!
Yes I'm getting some flack for being young/unmarried/still in school but I ignore them and concentrate on all the support and understanding I get from those who matter. Everyone just wants us to succeed!
