1. Due date? How many weeks are you? What size is baby? March 20. 26 weeks and a head of lettuce

3. Any other children? Furbabies? FTM but I do have two doggies

4. How are you feeling? Gassy. Also my lower back is aching but I'm sure that's due to all of the new weight on my front side

5. Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves? This Saturday a maternity tour. On the 22nd GD testing and routine check up.

QOTW: How did 2014 work out for you? Please share some highlights. It started off horribly with the passing of my FIL in February. The husband quit his job with no warning in May. Vey stressful first half. But when we found out that we finally we're going to have a child after 17 years of trying, it certainly turned this year around!

4. How are you feeling? Honestly, terrified. i am really scared of another loss and another sad EDD and more "what would have beens"

5. Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves? RE appt on monday with betas and an u/s to look for a sac. If all is well I get to stop the vaginal estrace (no more smurf crotch, yay!)

It kinda sucked. Between the loss and job issues I have had it has been really challenging. I really hope 2015 is better.

4. How are you feeling? Eh. I called yesterday about a pain in the upper abdomen. Their suggestion was water and tylenol. Dude. I wasted part of my day waiting to hear what I already was doing? Oh well. Besides mounting contractions I guess I am fine. Just waddling along.

5. Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves? Appt on the 18th. Checks start then and I will be every week from then on.

2014 started out rough. I was already knee deep in the cough from hell....then came the stomach bug in April that landed me in the ER. But in May we found out that we conceived this LO. This year has really been pretty uneventful. But there is still another couple weeks left of 2014 so who knows

15 wks 2 days. Orange I think?

I'll be 37 at delivery. Just turned at Thanksgiving. I keep saying I'm 36 and forgetting that I'm not anymore!

We have a 6 yr old son and a 2 yr old daughter and one black lab who is 10.

Starting to not be as nauseous. I still feel kind of sick in the afternoons most days though. Still very tired. Starting to really feel the pressure of baby in my belly. I had to start with maternity pants because the pressure of normal pants just hurts! I feel like I look like I'm 23 wks pregnant!

I see my new OB on Friday the 19th. I don't think I actually see him though. I think I start with the midwife and she'll do paperwork, history, and hearttones I'm told. I'll go back to the actual doctor on the 23rd for exam and ultrasound. I'm excited and hoping I really like this clinic.

2014.. hmm. Well my son started kindergarten which I consider a milestone.

He's doing great and I swear it was like someone flipped a switch and he's a big boy! He came home immediately after school started saying words like obviously, unfortunately, apparently all the time. lol My daughter turned 2 and I felt like that was kind of a milestone because she's really not a baby anymore.

My husband started a new job which seems to be going pretty well. And now we're expanding our family again which was totally unexpected but is very exciting at the same time.

5. Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves? We are onto weekly appointments ! Only seven more weeks if all goes well. I did have to up my diabetic meds alittle but numbers are looking good..no weight gain this month!

It was a TTC emotional rollercoaster. Hit a very low point in the spring, but then got an exciting BFP in early fall.

I started a PT teaching job which has been a fun distraction. And... we (DH and I) finally finished writing a book that has been a long project. So excited and scared for its release next year! (kinda feels like I have two "babies" coming

)

My sister picked up a bunch of days at work whole month of December . Makes no sense since she literally is the only person to watch ds when I'm in labor:( stressed! 4. How are you feeling? Large... pelvic pain was getting better, then got worse Tues - Thurs but getting better again I hope.

5. Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves? Have our 34 week appt on Monday (I believe I get my TDaP shot then). Nursery is really coming together! Need to put up wall decals and put all the clothes/stuff away but I think we are nearly there!

Professionally - it was tough. My company re-orged in Nov 2013 and my team was eliminated. I had a few great leads in Jan - early Mar but those all went to internal candidates. Then the market was pretty dead for a while save a few random things here and there. Then in the fall it started to pick back up but I was starting to be visibly pregnant - and as luck would have it the interviews I had were with women vs men who aren't as quick to pick up on these things - so that worked against me in interviews. Put the search on hold in late Sept/early Oct and plan to pick back up and hopefully find something in late spring.

Personally - well, we are FINALLY pregnant - YAY! But the year started out rough. Came into it off of a failed IVF cycle in Dec, another failed cycle in Feb/Mar and then finally our BFP in May! DH had a crazy work/travel year - good stuff in that it was productive for him, but rough for me/us in that he was gone so freaking much and we didn't get to do our mid-winter long weekend (I did end up joining my parents on a cruise in Hawaii but that was without him since he was overseas the whole time), we also had to cancel/reschedule long weekends and vacation. Even our Babymoon which was wonderful - was tailored around where he was traveling. So hoping from that regards that 2015 is better - less travel for DH!

2 black labs, but one probably has terminal cancer. We find out on Monday. :-(
4. How are you feeling?
I have a cold. On Monday, I coughed until I puked. Then I puked until my nose bled. Last night I fell asleep while my husband made dinner for me. It was a PB&J sandwich. I lost my voice. I can't stop coughing and always have to pee a little when I cough. Not good.

I have my 24-week check on Wednesday next week.

I finally lost the baby weight from DS #1. HA!
We also had a lot of family issues in 2014. I have some relatives who I've been trying to get out of a domestic violence situation for a long time. They finally left. Now they're living with us and we're helping with the psychological / legal / financial fallout of it. Because having 2 kids under 2 wasn't going to be bad enough. Seriously though, we're happy to help.

I think I've turned a corner on the latest bug. I'm glad because now I have to rush to get the house ready for the in-laws' holiday visit.

2014 was a culmination year of sorts. I'd been working on some health issues for two years prior and figured out the last piece of the puzzle in Q1. It was a big struggle, but it's over. That seemed to open the door to TTC and the BFP in the middle of the year. I guess I always wish I had done more but all in all, it's been a great year.

1. Due date? How many weeks are you? What size is baby? Due date 1/9; repeat c-section scheduled for 1/8. Baby is about 6 pounds.

2. Age at delivery? (optional) 39; 19 days later I turn 40.

3. Any other children? Furbabies? DD turns 6 in January. DS turned 4 Wednesday. DD2 turns 2 today (12/12)!

4. How are you feeling?

I'm hanging in there. Could be worse; could be better. Just so tired and awkward. Sore.

5. Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves?

I am now having twice/week appts with non-stress tests at each. Had my first one this week. Baby has been measuring ahead, but weirdly this week I was back on track!!! I think the baby dropped a little and was just way up high before. I'm not as short of breath in the mornings as I had been.

2014 has been a big year and it has really flown by. I left my job in March after 12 years and became a SAHM. That was a huge change, and a good one for me right now! We've also been working on a giant house remodel/addition project ever since we moved in summer 2013. That has continued to keep us busy all year. DD1 started kindergarten--a big change for all of us!!! DS started preschool--he goes to 3K 2 mornings/week. DD2 has grown a lot. I enjoy the age 1 to age 2 stage very much. So much development but they are still sweet and not screaming "noooo!" all the time. Plus, of course, baby #4 on the way and trying to enjoy/appreciate what will most likely be my last pregnancy.

Highlights: Got engaged! Got married! Got pregnant!

The Ugly: DH's mother passed away on Valentine's Day, DH's grandfather passed 3 months later, home has needed tons of repairs/upgrades.

So...half good/half bad.

4. How are you feeling? Only bloating, gas, frequent urination, and sore boobs. I had a few days this week were I felt off, but no full out nausea. I am trying not to let that bother me and not worry. I go between feeling I got this to its going to end the same way and trying to prepare myself.

5. Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves? 17 days until my first appointment. Despite the answer to #4, today I actually exercised and we came up with a plan for how we will tell our family. PgAL win for me.

QOTW: How did 2014 work out for you? Please share some highlights. Its been a mix of good and bad. In January we started to TTC and got a BFP in June and got our house on the market a week later. Then I had a MC in July. Unfortunately our house is still on the market even after a price reduction. I got another BFP on Thanksgiving, and we will have our first u/s on Dec 29. If we don't have a repeat, the year will end fabulously. If it goes like it did last time, it will be a sad end of one year and an emotional start of another and we will be right where we were a year ago. DD turning 2, spending the summer on my parents farm, and all the amazing growing and changing DD had done has been the best parts.

   I have now been pregnant in my 20's, 30's and now 40's. I said this during a casual conversation about how my pregnancy was going, as the words left my mouth I was dumbfounded by my statement! In the end, I will have reared children my whole adult life!! This astounds me because my plan was have my kid(s) by the time I was 25 so I could be young enough to enjoy myself, etc. Now, here I am pregnant with a kid that will graduate high school when I'm 60! WTF?! Boy, did my plan go haywire or what!? LOL Wow, well that was more of a 'rant' than 'how I'm feeling'!! Anyways, where I was going before I went off was, I sailed through my 1st pregnancy, the 2nd was a little more difficult but this one...holy hell, I am soooo freaking exhausted and ready for it to be over, I can't even see straight! I feel sorry for my poor husband because he pretty much does it all around the house while I lay around doing nothing. Originally, I wanted to let the labor begin naturally but NOW I am hoping to be induced before Valentine's Day!!

   BPP Ultrasound 12/23 (see above for rant..hehe) Oh and the 12/23 appt begins the weekly check ups...so I'll have 8 weeks of weekly ultrasounds on the baby.

   Not too shabby. Jobs good, home life is good, everyone is healthy. Other than being pregnant and mostly miserable because of it, not to mention not financially ready for another child, it's been a good year!

4) Feeling good, but got diagnosed with pre-eclampsia anyway :-(

5)MFM said Monday, I could come back in 3 weeks if I was still pregnant, but he didn't think I would be.... OB admitted me for BP and here I am!

QOTW: Well, I got fired after 10 months of working under one of the worst bosses, so that was good/bad. We got pregnant in May after trying for a year and being told we couldnt without IVF in Jan, so that was good!
Its been a very good pregnancy to date, if all goes well through delivery- I would give 2014 2 thumbs up!! :-)

Good. My belly feels a little weird every now and then, but I guess that's just 'cause there's a lot going on in there.

Go tomorrow for blood test and not sure what else. Gonna have the blood screened for chromosonal issues.

QOTW: How did 2014 work out for you? Please share some highlights. Like many others on the board, we had some big losses. My SIL passed suddenly in January at age 29. Been super tough on my brother and family. My BF's mother passed in October. We also lost a few friends along the way. The holidays are going to be tough this year, but we plan on telling our families about the baby on Christmas eve since I'll be almost three months by then. Am hoping it will bring some joy to everyone.
