Well it's just about that time again, the whole New Year, New Me thing.
How do you ladies feel about resolutions? Do you have any goals in mind for 2015? I usually have a few resolutions, but have a hard time holding myself accountable for them. What do you do to keep on track?

  • I don't make resolutions. I feel like it is lying to myself. But the H and I usually take January to get back on the healthy train because December is so busy and tempting. We also have some goals of things we need to do with the house ie a new roof, work on the front yard, remove the old unused oil tank and fix the garden shed.

  • I make resolutions...and fail every year.  Lose weight, go back to church.  Ugh, the same every year.  I think the new year is a good time to think about what you want to do differently in the next year.  I feel like its a good time to just say "its a new year and a new day".

I'm not sure if I'll make resolutions this year.  Like @heartbot, I can only hope that 2015 will bring better things than this year did.  Good riddance 2014.

  • @skategirl128‌ I love the idea of 5 grateful/happy things daily. So many times I catch myself focusing on all the negatives going on in my life, I forget to think about the good.

@heartbot‌ & @welly01‌ I'm definitley in the "let's make 2015 better than this year" boat.

I would like to get healthier, I used to be on a weekly running routine/schedule, but I just got lazy. I need to hold myself accountable instead of finding excuses (which I'm the queen of).

  • I'm with the majority I don't really make resolutions - I don't really see the point when I know I won't stick with it. But I do want to work on being happier and not trying to control so much in my life.

  • I have been against new year resolutions for the most part because I found I had the same ones year after year...which means my list was an epic fail every year, and I find if you have resolutions it's easier to set them aside later in the year due to the whole "well, it's a new year in a few months, I will start it then".

However, the new year always makes me think about things I would like to change. I like the idea of setting goals and I am thinking if I made a physical list of stuff, I may do better. I am a project manager so checking things off a list really helps me keep motivated.

And I am with many of you ladies...buh bye 2014, I really didn't like you!
I am not sure how to say this without getting a "solicitation" warning so I guess I just say that I am not longer active on THIS site.
