I truly hope she doesn't either. Really. Aside from the travel, I just think it would be cool for the baby to come when my whole family is together. So, I don't hope for the csection. I just would love for the baby to come while we are there. And if she does have a csection, I hope she has peace going in to it.
I apologize to anybody who had an unwanted csection and if it brings up bad feelings. Not my intent.
Eta: it was mostly my initial reaction of "oh, I hope she doesn't have to have a csection, but man it would be cool to meet the newest one while we are all there to celebrate Christmas.
I tend to think of Charlie as older than he is- partly because he looks older, and is a good talker, but also because I am comparing him to Toby.
When I come on here and see the way some of you talk about your J13ers, I realize that he really is still a baby in a lot of ways. (he is one of the older ones, born on June 30, but thats not a huge difference)
I am afraid that I am expecting too much from him often, and I really need to focus on being a little more patient and understanding.
Sometimes when James cries (like when he falls down or something gets taken away from him because it's dangerous) he does his newborn cry and I think it's a little bit cute... It just reminds me of when he was very small. Is that weird?
I'm contemplating getting some "old lady night gowns" just so I don't have to wear pants...brought to you by falling asleep in a tunic with no pants on and enjoying the "free" feeling
I have a couple of short old-lady gowns, but I mostly just sleep in a big t-shirt. I can't stand sleeping with anything on my bottom half.
I can't wear a thong to bed since giving birth. I have to change into granny panties... I go through a lot of undies.
I have no holiday decorations up in my house. I'm on restrictions for lifting and exercising, so I technically can't bring down the boxes. But, really we are going away for Christmas and I don't feel like decorating just to take it down again when we get back home.
I sent E to daycare yesterday in pants that I knew where too small and tried to pass them off as skinny jeans. I got caught. She was sent home in other clothes with a note.
In my defense, they were 24 months so in theory, they should have fit. :-\"
In reality, it's been a crazy week and I needed to do the laundry.
@biggunsbo and @Mamasighs I think that it became an issue when they tried to put her pants on after a diaper change. They were too small. Baby got back.

Wow! This seems a little ridic (daycare, not you)
+1
What, exactly, did the note say?
Dear Mrs. Rondokye,
We know those skinny jeans aren't really skinny jeans. We put your kid in different clothes. If this happens again, we'll be calling CPS.
FFFC I've been avoiding the board this week. Doctor confirmed on Monday after blood work that this was a chemical pregnancy. Got upset, of course, and decided just to stay busy with home stuff. This has been a tough week. Hubby's grandpa that he's really close with has been fighting cancer for the last year and finally asked to be put on in-home hospice and hubby's childhood dog is doing poorly with his cancer and hubby and his mom decided to put him down this Saturday.

FKA mimi4347: diaper rash magician and unofficial expert on excrement
This kid may not have a lot of bowel, but he has plenty of guts! DS born at 34 weeks with (surprise!) gastroschisis turned short bowel syndrome. 131 days in the NICU, 7 trips to the OR, G-button, daily TPN....
We are impatiently awaiting the day we can say goodbye to his girlfriend Ivy for good.
Thank you everyone! Your virtual hugs have been very much felt today. DH doesn't really get why this baby loss is such a big deal to me. Probably because he didn't really find out about it until a bit before my appointment when I told him I didn't know if it was a viable pregnancy. He's like that. So he hasn't been the greatest comfort and I'm sure by now, it's not even on his radar.

A loss is a loss is a loss, and your feelings are real and justified. >:D<
