Gripe water?

Sorry if this has been posted. Im mobile bumping. What brand of gripe water did you use and find most effective? And safest? I called the PCP asking to reccomend a brand and I got "you can try any". Sigh. I read do not get one with sodium bicarbonate? Any suggestions woukd be appreciated!

We first tried Mommy Bliss gripe water but LO kept choking on it and had hard time swallowing it (it has a thick sticky texture...I think from the Glycerine ingredient). We then tried Little Remedies and that seems to be going down well. LO definitely calms down as soon as a few drops hit her lips. Haven't noticed her releasing any gas with it, so maybe it's the sugar that calms her down. Not sure but it does seem to be effective during the witching hour.

We use colic calm.. It's pricey at 19.99 a bottle but we love it and little man has no problem taking it!

@kfo22‌ we use it several times a day. The bottle should tell you the max allowed. Mommy's Bliss is 6 times a day. Don't feel bad for using it if it's needed and working for you!

Mommy's Bliss- LO actually seems to like the taste! I use to get rid of his hiccups.

We have little remedies too, dont see anywhere how often we can use it ... finding several times a day would be useful ... lol

I believe little remedies was 12 times a day. We used that first and just happened to grab a different brand the second time. I'm not for sure on that number though. It should be on the back where the directions are. I know mommy's bliss is 6 times a day and at least 30 minutes between each dose.

We use little remedies and LO spits most of it out. Not quite sure if it helps or not but I use it when we have tried everything else.

We got mommy bliss and I hadn't used it until last night. He was being fussy and had the hiccups. Worked like a charm. He actually took a pacifier instead of using me as a human pacifier, lost his hiccups, and fell asleep with me rocking him! This was huge for me 8->

Thanks to the advice on this thread. Went to our first Target outing with LO yesterday and picked up Little Remedies gripe water. Also picked up children's acetaminophen and simethicone (anti-gas) drops. I figured better to have these on hand than not having when needed and running out to the store.
