Elleswarth: As a FTM I worry about little things because I don't know what to expect and what is okay and not okay. So thank you for your sarcastic and slightly rude remark, but it's not appreciated. I don't want anything to harm my baby so sorry for being concerned over this but I'm trying to protect my little one.
EmmyG65: Thank you for your comment, I just wanted to make sure.
Those are the types of answers you get when you ask questions like that. A car shaking? Really? You're more apt to hurt the baby while standing in front of the microwave while it's running than from a SHAKY CAR.
How about you try being nicer to women who are new to motherhood or soon to be new to motherhood. This website is free for women to post anything regardless of how little it is. Becoming a parent is a lot to take on, and women do not need to put up with rude and sarcastic remarks from people like you. I've noticed I'm not the first one to complain about your remarks. So can I offer a little advice? Unless you have something nice to say, how about you keep it to yourself? As of now, I am done conversing with you because frankly I have better things to do that to put up with your belittling attitude.
Thank you ACH831, as for my car this happens every yr regardless of what vehicle I'm driving. So I know the car is fine, I just need to run it through a car wash when it's mild out and it will be fine. It happened since we had a lot of snow come down yesterday/ last night. Thank you for your reply though. I feel better getting some reassurance!

Are you talking about the ignorant post someone left on my "wall" calling me a bitch? Because that was dealt with. Don't preach at me about motherhood because you asked a dumb question. Thanks for your "advice", that was super sweet of you! Thanks for adding so much to this board.

Just wanted to point out how your post contradicts the point that you made about this website being free for women to post ANYTHING. You can post what you want and anyone can respond how they please.
Im so bad at remembering to QFP... But her initial question was basically "my car was shaking on the way to work and I'm 36 weeks and the baby is moving around perfectly fine but I think I hurt him from the shaking." And the title was originally "worrie" something or other. Girl, bye.
Watch it with the vibrators @LuckyPenny1231, you'll give your kid shaken baby syndrome in utero.

Oh hellllllll no. There are a lot of first time mothers and mothers to be here. I'm pretty sure, myself included, that none of us have ever asked if a shaky car can damage our kid. First time motherhood doesn't equal lack of common sense. Pet peeve, yo. Pet peeve.

I did ask my OB if doing the elliptical was risky because I had a previous loss, and he said, "You can't shake a good pregnancy by something like that." So I guess a shaky car (or vibrator) falls into the same category.
Welp little spawn 2.0 is screwed then, between Dd shaking my belly until the baby kicks and her jumping on the bed this newbie has no chance! Ohh and the raspberries Dd gives my belly. I'm a horrible mom, someone feel bad for my kids! Lol.
Really, this chick needs to get her car checked out and get some damn common sense! I love the first time mom excuse, it's my favorite.
I missed it! Was at the doctors darn-it. I went to South Africa while Pregnant and the plane had all kinds of turbulence (GASP). Lets not even talk about while on Safari in a 4 Wheel Jeep.. Good old days prior to bedrest. My baby must be just a mess!! ;-)
Live like there is no tomorrow..Love like you have never been hurt...
Of course I have a busy morning and miss this gem. DH says to tell OP that, yes! She should go to bed immediately because everything can hurt her baby!!
My own personal response: if the shaking of a car can hurt my baby then I'm blaming all of you beautiful women for giving my baby shaken baby syndrome from all the belly laughing I've been doing all week!!!!
THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I PICK UP DAYS WORKING AT PRESCHOOL!
Holy hell... I can't leave you girls alone for a few hours. Not only am I doctor, but a licensed mechanic. My sister is the manager at Auto Zone so I am in fact qualified to answer any and all car related questions.
I'm very disappointed that nobody got the QFP. Don't let it happen again.
