Does anyone get migraines? What do you use for relief? I had my first one during pregnancy over the last two days and it was awful. When I called my doctor, they said to take tylenol, drink a lot of water and sleep. I asked about peppermint oil which I have used in the past and they said it was OK to use sparingly.
I've seen a few mentions in the symptoms thread but no actual discussion. Just curious what anyone else with migraines did for relief.

For relief, my routine is:
-warm or cold cloth on the head/face depending on what feels better for each migraine
-ice cold water run over my wrists helps, temporarily
-drink some coffee, then water
-acupressure - Google pressure points and self-massage them
-find a dark room and lay down, breathing deeply until I hopefully sleep it off
Of course, it works better with 4 ibu, but the ibu never provided anywhere near total relief anyway. I seriously recommend finding an allergy specialist to try to see if you can pinpoint delayed reactions to things in your environment, it changed my life! Stress still gets me sometimes, but fxd I don't get any migraines during this pregnancy.
ETA: Doc also put me on magnesium citrate supplements, they're OTC though
