I have been lurking for a few months and I think it's time to intro and start participating, I have a wonderful son who is 2. We decided to start trying for number 2 in June. I was having (and am still having) really long periods, 10 to 14 days, so I had a bunch of testing done. Luckily all tests came back normal, so we started trying. We got pregnant the first month and miscarried at 7 weeks. We had to take a cycle off, and now have tried 2 cycles unsuccessfully. I was refered to an RE because of my long periods, miscarriage, and short luteal phase. I have a saline ultrasound scheduled on Monday and I am very nervous. I also recently found out that I have low TSH (.28), so I am also freaking out about that. Sorry for the long history, but I am stressed and frustrated.
I hope to get to know you all, and have someone to go through this crazy journey with.

@kch917 My RE had a nurse call me with the thyroid results and said she just wanted to recheck the levels in 2 months. I explained my family history of thyroid disease and she said I could meet with an endocrinologist if that makes me feel better. I made an appointment with an endocrinologist, but couldn't get in until the end of January. I am surprised that my RE doesn't seem concerned. I know that an over active thyroid can't really be treated during pregnancy and can be pretty dangerous. I plan on asking her about this again during my saline sonogram on Monday.
