OB or PCP?

I had a cold followed by bronchitis about 9 weeks ago. I feel fine now but I am still coughing up mucus. The cough gets better every day and mucus lessens, but I'm worried maybe I have a more serious issue (chronic bronchitis, asthma,etc) because this cough has been around so long. I've been told excess mucus production and coughing can be normal during pregnancy. I am wondering who to see about this. Should I go to OB in case it is a pregnancy related symptom or PCP in case it is an unrelated illness? Thanks for your advice!

    I call my OB and they tell me to 1) come in, 2) make an appt with primary care, 3) go to urgent care clinic, or 4) go to ER

    Agree with PPs. Your OB will always want you to call them first, then they will tell you if you need to go elsewhere.

    I would see my primary care doc, but you can certainly call to let the OB know and ask their advice but I think they'll likely advise you to call your primary since it's likely just respiratory.
