We have danced around the subject but never delved in. Not looking for a debate! Just wondering where O14 Bumpies lie.

  • Ooh, heavy stuff!

I am totally over big government and career politicians in general.  It was a hard election year because I really wasn't happy with the choices presented.

  • @jeniece47‌ Good point! I am in MA. Liberal is super liberal around here.

  • I voted... But I feel like I'm going to be in the minority when it's said and done.

@MrsSarahRenee‌ it is in Washington also. In the last Governor election the Democrat and Republican candidate ran on very similar platforms with the same stance even on certain social issues.

DH and I joke that WA is the only other place we could live!

  • I'm a bit of a mix between Conservative/Republican and Libertarian.
  • I used to claim I was apathetic but nowadays I guess I lean liberal. Really liberal liberals (like most of my good friends in college) usually irritate the heck out of me but I am far from conservative.

  • I live in the Midwest where people are born republican and don't even give a shit about the issues, they just always vote republican. I consider myself middle of the road but the people out here are so conservative that they make me look really liberal.

  • I'm in the middle but lean liberal. Most people in my circle tend to assume that everyone they know is conservative and are surprised when they make a political comment and I disagree with them.

  • Fiscally conservative, socially liberal....but I'm Canadian, so not sure where I fall on your political scale ;)
  • Seriously.  This guy was one of my choices last week...

In Louisiana, the guy in this picture (a former governor) is interested in maybe trying politics again after serving much of his 10-year sentence for bribery, racketeering, and extortion. Edwin Edwards can't run for state-level positions for 15 years (because of being in jail and all) without a pardon, but there are no such barriers to federal office. Great job, Constitution!

I voted for the other guy.

  • Socially liberal, fiscally conservative.

Same here, except I moved to Texas so it's even worse. I've even had a few people quit talking to me because I'm "so liberal." Or because I don't like the N word and I think people should actually research stuff before spouting off nonsense.
  • I'm a little disappointed my Chuck Norris explanation isn't more popular. It wins.
