Merricks birth story (Late)

I have been super busy so here is his birth story now :)
I woke up at 2:30am from braxton hicks, I have been having them since 18 weeks but these were stronger and closer together. I woke up my bf at 3:33am to go for a walk, we came home he went back to sleep I tried. Once they were 5 min aprt we went in to l&d. I was 3 cm, had been for a few weeks. We tried walking for 2 hours and they checked again still at 3cm so they sent me home with sleeping pills to try and rest. Said I was in pre-labor lol I tried to sleep but it was more of a doze, finally went in at 8pm once I started having real labor contractions. I was 5-6 cm!!! I was so excited, it took a bit to get the iv started, I finally got my epidural around 10:30, took forever for they guy to get to me. My water broke on the toilet, I did the same with my first pregnancy, they checked my cervix after the ep and I was 9 cm. I tested postitive for B-strep so they wanted me to labor for at least 4 hours (till 1:30) for my second dose on antibiotics. I felt the need to push shortly after midnight, my midwive didn't have gloves on thinking it would be a bit of pushing. I pushed once, at 8 count she told me to stop pushing and she rushed to put gloves on, he was already crowning!!!!! She told me not to push and let the next conraction do the rest of the work. Merrick was born at 12:08am oct. 21 at 6lbs 120z 19 and 1/2 inches long, 11 days early! We stayed a few extra's days due to jaundice but he is healthy as can be. Now weighing 11 lbs 7oz and 22 and 1/2 inches long!!! 7 weeks old and 2 days. As I said late story! lol
