OMG Dimetapp (SP?) is the worst medicine out there. Those commercials where kids were hiding under the table until the mom showed them it was the oh so delicious Dimetapp? Yeah, that made me scoot further back under the table. That stuff was not passing my lips unless my mom wanted to clean up vomit.

One summer when I was little, I had a drink stand where I made "Lizzie's Fizzies", drinks of different Kool-Aids and Sprite. I made $120something.

I was always jealous of all the amox my brother had as a kid. I was almost excited when I finally had an ear infection. He "got" to have them all the time

Poor kid...we became close family friends with his ent doc. Pretty sure thats who his sponsor was for his confirmation in high school.

More of a FFFC but I don't think they sold Kool Aid in Asia (at least in the 90s) and I've never had it. I does not look appetizing, but since several of you feel strongly about it, maybe worth trying? I tried cheetos thanks to J'13!

I actually know nothing about Kool Aid. I think I tried it once & it was gross. We were more the Hi-C from the can kinda family... Back in the day when letting your kid drink neon dyed fake juice drinks was only frowned upon if the red mustache wasn't washed off in a timely manner.

I never had kool-aid at home as a kid. Or Hi-C. I also didn't like orange juice or grape juice. I have no idea what I drank. Milk and water, I guess?

I had never had Kraft mac before college, either. Homemade only. My roommate introduced me to both Easy Mac and ramen noodles.

We did, however, have fruit snacks on the reg.

Speaking of streaks. My friend and I did blonde chunks. The goal was to do these chunks and then you put a dark color over it so it came out as this dark auburn and then lighter red chunking throughout.

I had safety cone orange streaks. I still have the pictures. I'll post a pic. It was epic.

@sparkymcgeee‌ My friend did this exact thing to me. It was a Saturday night and before she could put the color on top of my bleached black hair, it was too late for the day. I had to go to church the next morning with orange tiger striped hair.

We ended up going to a 24 hour walmart because it was about 11. We ended up getting a box of color. But made sure to take pictures first. We wore hats at walmart and our hair was a weird brown color but it didn't look horrible. It wasn't orange anyway. I'll see if I can find the pic tonight.
