Pack and Play VS Co-Sleeper

Which do you prefer for a baby that will stay in our room for a little bit? Do co-sleepers travel well?

We are using a pack n play with the bassinet attachment on it. We will use that for the first while. I also have a rock & play sleep that we will use in the living room for little lady to sleep in. I've looked into co-sleepers, but just haven't found one that I love.

We used a PnP with bassinet. We needed something for travel too so it made sense to go with a PnP over a co-sleeper. Still using it with DD1 at 2.5yrs when we travel.

And PnP are cheaper.

We got a pnp with bassinet and used that for awhile. I think the bassinets on pnps have lower weight limits than the cosleepers, but DD is tiny and it wasn't an issue. It was much cheaper than a cosleeper.

We went with the snuggle nest surround. It lays in bed between us. We have a Cal King bed and tons of room, and don't sleep with blankets cuddled all around us. It's not the best option for everyone, but it made the most sense for us.

We also have a pack n play with napper station and a swing downstairs. Then of course the crib in the nursery that we hope to be using by 6 months. I like having the pack n play downstairs to wrangle all the kid clutter in the living room. It has a spot for diapers, toys, etc. and keeps everything together.

This. Go ahead and get some things but there's no guarantee what they'll sleep in. DD slept in a bassinet until 12 weeks and then she moved into her crib. DS had reflux and slept in either our arms or his swing until 7 months. We are hoping to use a rock n play this time but still have a pac n play, swing, and crib.

If we had a king bed I'd do this in a heartbeat.

We are doing a pack n play w/bassinet attachment but if that doesn't work out I'm willing to try other things such as a rock n play if the baby is having a hard time sleeping on a flat surface.
