I forgot my password and mobile logged me out, then was to lazy to reset it, but I'm here now!
So after 6 er trips (4 that resulted in stays ranging from 3 days to a week plus ) and a transfer at one point to another hospital he had surgery last Saturday to remove his colon (and part of his pancreas a because it was that imflamed). He will need 2 more over the next six months but he's already doing better than he had since this began end of September.
Today he's struggling a lot though with reflux and no appetite (and in a month and a half he lost 46lbs) but he had worked up to soft solids (oatmeal, French toast, noodles).
His diagnosis was ulcerative colitis.
It's been a struggle doing all the child care and he hasn't worked since mid October but the ladies here are so generous and supportive and that's been so helpful.
Anymore questions feel free to ask. Thanks for checking in!

Omg @kelle017 that's awful! Hopefully they figure out a treatment plan that works well for him. Did they know he had UC prior to him getting sick in Sept or was he just diagnosed? I understand how scary and confusing this is, i was diagnosed with Crohns last year when pregnant with LO.
Oh good, I'm glad to hear from you. I felt like you kind of put it out there that you were struggling and then I never heard any more. So sorry, that is so hard but thankfully they have an answer now. Hope the surgeries fix things and he is on the road to recovery!
