  It took over an hour for my 6 week old. And then half hour later she was hungry again so I put her on the boob. She is definately having her growth spurt. I used a med flow nipple.

  Well today was her first bottle. I have something im going to in 1.5 weeks so I figured that would be enough time for her to get used to a bottle for a babysitter that day. I think my supply is already pretty high. I pumped for the first ten minutes of her bottle today and got 6 oz. I guess when her growth spurt is over it will be easier to determine how much to put in a bottle. But even when she is not in a growth spurt , she eats every hour from about 8-11pm, and then sleeps for about 6 hours.

  She must of been doing some comfort nibbling or getting lazy? My husband is the one that gave her the bottle and. I was trying to stay in the other room. Ill have to give him some tips on what i usually do when she gets lazy.

  I would guess that an hour with a med flow nipple, she's not actively eating.
  It takes C about 20 min to do 3 oz with slow flow nipple.
