I feel like we've discussed this before but I can't seem to find a post. Plus I'm in a super holiday mood and want to talk Christmas:)
SO. What are some Christmas traditions that you carry on or plan to carry on?
My mom, my sisters and I used to make TONS Christmas cookies as a family and this year is the first year I will be doing so. I was planning on starting right now, but I'm waiting for DD to be up from her nap so she can sit at her high chair at the island and play in the flour and such.
Also we'd all decorate the tree together and string cranberries and popcorn to wrap around the tree. I plan on doing a variation of this, just not with cranberries and popcorn.

Ideally we'd open one present Christmas Eve, wake up and open presents and stockings while our breakfast casserole cooks in the oven and then the kids would play with all of the gifts before we headed to one of our parent's houses for dinner. Instead we will be spending Christmas Eve with my family, Christmas eve with DH's huge extended family and Boxing Day with his immediate family. It's exhausting.
I plan to do a ton of baking and take DD on as many winter adventures as possible before Christmas though.
Christmas eve we go out to breakfast with DH's family and visit with my mom's family that evening.
Christmas day we do our gifts that morning. Lunch at DH's grandmother's, and gifts at his parent's that evening.
We also see my family but those days and times change because of work schedules.
