FL Prepaid college plan?

I know that I need to sign up by Jan 31 and I was just on the website and there are so many options!! What do you do if you have it?  I know I want the 4-year option, but I don't know about the other things - tuition differential, local fees, housing, etc?  Is it worth it to do any of that?

Re: FL Prepaid college plan?

  • We just signed up for Zoe's a few weeks ago. We're doing 4 years of tuition, and the fees, and 1 year if housing. From what I hear most kids get apartments after the first year. I figure the fees will likely go up in price, so better to lock them in now. We're doing it all in a lump sum, and the money is due by the end of April.

  • We only did the 4-year. Figure that will cover the bulk and we should be ok to pay anything else (hopefully :)

  • we did 4 year option with nothing else. I lived at home and had a 2 year comm college / 2 yr university and parents paid the difference... I went to a private university so it was way more but I was able to use what they had already paid.

Ditto. We did at least that. I am thinking books, too, but am not positive. I would have to check.
