I have managed to spend most of the Christmas budget on stuff for the kids (as per DHs instructions). Now I have not much money and plenty of gifts to still get. In order to spend the bulk of it (under $300) on DH and the parents, I'm wondering if it would be too cheap of me to just make some snacky food for DH and Is siblings. My sister we see pretty often, she asked for giftcards and lotto tickets. One of my brothers we see maybe once a month, there is only one thing on his list under $50. My other brother, I see maybe twice a year, no clue what to get him. DHs sister lives 17 hours away, we see her maybe once a year. So if I make snacks, maybe throw in a little lotto ticket or two and some cute pictures of DDs, is that being too cheap?
Re: Christmas gifts--too cheap?
This is why I am so glad we don't exchange gifts with the adults in my family.
