I started browsing around here last week because I am not a big fan of the other group I've been participating in. What kind of pushed me over the edge was getting flack for suggesting that someone talk to their doctor instead of taking advice on whether something was of concern from a bunch of non-medically trained strangers on the internet. I came here and lo and behold there are actually rules against that. Yay!

I have not learned 100% what people do and do not want posted. Some things are obvious but other times it seems random. Doesn't really matter to me either way. I just enjoy hanging around. What sold me on deciding to register here was the ugly sweater theme. That is hilarious. I figure people must have a good sense of humor and I can appreciate a high level of sarcasm.

I am 42 years old. I am literally considered to be "elderly" when it comes to reproduction (it's on one of my doctor visit printouts). This is my fourth pregnancy, third baby. My son is 9 and my daughter is 2.5. This baby was a total surprise since every other time I've gotten pregnant was on purpose (I don't get pregnant easily). I found out on my birthday in August and I am due 4/12. We also just moved from Massachusetts to Seattle because my husband got a new job.

Nothing else too exciting. We don't know the gender and don't have a name picked out. I will not be asking your opinions about names because I know it pisses everyone off and ultimately I don't care what anyone else thinks about the name (family included). So that should make everyone happy. :)

I look forward to hanging out here for the next few months.
