  We are a house divided.  I'm an over kinda girl and DH is an under kinda guy.  While I love him and appreciate him changing out the roll, I find that I am often "fixing" it if he has put it on wrong

  I put over cause we have 3 bathrooms and this is the way we do it in 2....the 3rd has a standing holder where you pull the toilet paper sideways (like paper towel) so I guess this would be the SS option!

  SS -
  OVER is the only right way.
  
  HOWEVER, since potty training a toddler, we now flip it under so that he can't unroll the entire thing as he spins it. I die a little inside every time I look at it. I know visitors are judging me.

  When we lived with MIL, she and I always had invisible fights about it.  Every time she went to the bathroom, she flipped it under, and every time I went, I would flip it around and change it over.

  
  

  DH doesn't care, and neither DD nor my sister ever replace the roll.

  We do over but we disagree on brand. So, there are two TP holders in the master bath.

  Being a hotelier it is only over. There just is no other way. Think about the last time you stayed in a nice, classy hotel...it was over!

  Im an over girl. I change it other places sometimes because under drives me so crazy.
  
  Before I got married, one of the optometrists I worked for jokingly asked if DH and I were on the same page with this because it was a deal breaker for him! But we are.

  Over...always over. Think of the germs that may be on the wall under the holder, and that dangling bit of tissue from an *under * roll spends so much time laying right against them. Yuck.

  I'm an over kind of girl. Both of my parents are under so I always switch it when I'm at their house. They don't really ever use that bathroom anyways so I'm going to make it comfortable for me.
