I spilled coffee/coffee grounds all over my gas stovetop. It is not working anymore. I called an appliance person and am waiting on a call back, but does anyone with a gas stove know if when the pilot light goes out the gas can leak out or are we good? I know I sound stupid right now but I'm a little freaked out. And no, I don't smell any gas so the answer to my question is probably no.

Note to self: Do not call Dad regarding appliances. He will only make you nervous.
