overnight options for newborn

I hate to say this, because I really don't want to jinx it, but my 3 week old is a pretty good sleeper at night (for a newborn,) and I just got the pediatrician's blessing to let her sleep at night instead of waking her up to feed her every 2-3 hours. Are there good options for a nb diaper that she can wear for 4+ hours and not wake up feeling soaking wet? I'm using mostly GMD prefolds and workhorses, and I have a couple of Simplex and Lil Joeys. Would the AIOs feel drier longer, or add a fleece liner to the GMDs, or something else? I'd be willing to try something new if people have found that it works- I don't really know what's out there for nb.

I know that you're supposed to change a nb every two hours or so, but I really don't want to wake us both up to do that if she's able to sleep longer. And I swear that I'm not starving my baby- I've been meeting with both her dr and a lactation consultant regularly to discuss her feeding schedule and weight gain, and they both agree that as long as she eats often during the day, it's OK to let her sleep longer at night at this point.

    If you've already got GMD workhorses, you could add a hemp doubler and a fleece liner and see how that holds up.

    ETA: Geffen Baby makes awesome hemp inserts and they make newborn sizes, and if you don't get the "plus" size that may fit too.

    We started using the workhorses with a hemp doubler (or 2). We've never had to bother with a stay-dry type of liner or anything. I just put coconut oil on him at night and it works as a really good barrier.

    I have the GMD hemp doublers. They fit just fine and are cheap.

    My LO is in a small workhorse and sometimes I add a Nicki's small bamboo doubler but don't have to. If you're in nb workhorses just going to a small might do the trick at least for a bit since there are more absorbent layers. We just started trying out wool and that has helped me work through the trial and error a bit since its kind of a back up for leaks.
    ETA ..making sense.

    All I can say is that small workhorses are working for us! I figured they had more absorbent layers since it made a difference for us but I guess it was just the overall increase in fabric. Captain obvious here. Also, 1+1=2

I think it's like 8 bucks but totally worth it! Pair that with your workhorse and a good cover and you should be good to go

    @mrswelsh3 I've been curious about the night stay dry doublers. Any issues with hemp being the closest absorbent material to baby, with that whole slow absorber thing?
