  • Eat all the Christmas oranges. Trust me.
  • I have had this problem since childhood and pregnancy has made it worse! No much helps but my midwife turned me on to calcium and magnesium - 1000mg daily. Taking too much calcium can give a normal person diarrhea but seems to do the trick for pregnant ladies. I would suggest taking half dosage until you know how your body will react. Be sure to drink extra water to avoid intestinal cramps. Good luck!

  • HAHAHAHAHAHA! Me too....A warm shower seems to help sometimes I have to take two showers if its bad.

  • I know that if it gets too bad like you haven't gone for weeks they will give you colonoscopy prep stuff. You know the stuff they give you before you have a colonoscopy to totally clean you out so just make sure you keep your doctor updated cuz they can really help. I know you have heard to drink and drink and drink water and take colace but I'm sure you have tried that but it has failed like it has for me lol just keep your doc informed!

    @Britanee&Baby‌ I'm def gonna try the calcium thing. I already have calcium supplements because of my aversion to milk i figured i should try to get some extra calcium from somewhere lol but have failed miserably at taking them. I'm def gonna try now to help with the pooping if this finally helps you will def get a creepy Internet stranger kiss! Hahaha

  • Terrible constipation here too, despite good fiber in diet, exercise, hydration, colace, metamucil, fruit juice, prunes, etc. Good luck to us!
  • Try drinking subtweet plum juice light! I swear its my miracle drink!! Every night before bed and relief by morning!
  • I've said it before and I'll say it again, warm prune juice and tons of water!

  • I've dealt with it a bit. Luckily only a few times, but it is awful !
    @klax4‌ Prune juice was always my mother's go to when I was a kid!!

  • Try smooth move tea. It can be found with the regular tea.
  • I ended up having to take Miralax. 2 weeks without pooping was the worst! I am talking with my OB this week to see if he has other suggestions.
  • I had awful gas cramps due to constipation. It felt like I was being punched in the stomach. Even with proper diet, plenty of fluids and walking I was still experiencing constipation sometimes for almost 2 weeks! NOT HEALTHY. I added a fiber chewable vitamin and it took a day... I feel so much better.
  • FIBER CHEWS! Ask your Dr. before taking them though. Little buggers changed my life.
  • A little coffee makes me go like there's no tomorrow.... Might be worth a try.
  • Pickle juice!!! It sounds crazy and gross, but it works!!

    I could be wrong but I don't think this should be used during pregnancy. Just because something is herbal doesn't mean it's safe.

  • I take 3 scoops of benefiber with my decaf coffee EVERY morning. It keeps me regular. I got the tip from my sister after she suffered from constipation and hemmorhoids during her pregnancy. It's been a life saver. You dont taste it and it doesnt thickener.
