Anybody dilated any? I'm 1cm and 30 weeks I'm starting to worry!

You can be dilated at 1 cm for weeks. Don't worry too much. I was 3 cm dilated from 36 weeks to the day I went into labor at 40 weeks. If your OB isn't worried, you don't need to be or you'll just stress yourself and baby.

Is this ur first baby? My dr says it's normal to dilate and have a soft cervix after you've aleady had a baby.

If this is causing you distress then you should call his office and ask to see another doctor. How do you know you're dilated if you haven't been seen by a Dr though?

I wouldn't worry to much. I was 3cm dilated for 4 weeks with my first.

My 2nd child I was in the hospital for 3 days, I was also having contractions! Of course my doctor is on vacation I see him first thing Monday morning

I was in the hospital for 3 days because of leg pain and realized I was having contractions once I was hooked up to the monitor so they did an cervix exam they didn't seem to worried it's just me

I was 2 cm dilated from 33 weeks until I had DD at 38+5. They did put me on home rest and pulled me from work because I they diagnosed with my irritable uterus, but we made it those 5 more weeks with no changes.

I was 3+ cm dilated with DD from 34 weeks until I delivered her at 37w6days. I was already on bedrest due to a different complication, but I would suggest avoiding heavy lifting, vigorous workouts, and yes as others have stated, call the OB office. Someone is on call, and should advise you medically what to do.

I was at 3 cm for a long time, never went past it even with meds...so I ended up with a csection. Doesn't mean much

I'm curious as to how and why you know how far your dilated. At the clinic I went to with my first two they didn't start checking me until I was 36 weeks and that's the same rule at the new office I'm going to this time. And as others said, I was dilated to a 2-3 for three weeks before my first. And I was dilated 3-4 with my second for 3 weeks. Dilation doesn't mean a whole lot, things can change very quickly or very slowly.

Same 30 weeks and 1 centimeter Dialated but some advice don't do to much relax and prop your feet up ! If any contractions best thing is to visit the birth center

It really only means anything if you are dialated, your contractions are 5 min apart and maybe your water has broken. Effacement and dilation alone do not mean much.
