Re: Second and Third trimester discussion (12/08)
@mmheartspb Compression socks and floor exercises. My back is preventing me from walking too much, but yoga and leg lifts do help. I don't go anywhere without compression socks now.
I just found out yesterday that my doctor has a conflict with the week we planned my c-section. She won't let me go anywhere past 38 weeks due to my age (41), so we always knew it would be between 37-38 weeks. Well, now it is set for 37..!!!!! January 14th!!! That is FIVE WEEKS FROM NOW HOLY COW!
Yesterday I thought baby was going to bust through my c-section scar. He was pounding it from the inside - my husband thought I was buckling over with contractions. It was so crazy painful. I was totally convinced I was going to be rushed in for emergency surgery - every ridiculous scenario went through my head.
I've gone lunatic. PGAL brain and hormone stew = crazy lady.
@dragonfly1809 - Five weeks is pretty exciting!!!
@samuelismomma - Sorry about all the back pain. Are they still thinking this is a December baby for you?

ETA @pblge my son's nursery wasn't finished until he was six or seven months old. He didn't sleep in there until about that time anyhow.

Compression socks are hard enough to get on but this was just stupid: four nurses struggling around my legs (while bleeding and bandaged up -- ) possibly the ugliest scene of my life. I swear they tried for an hour to get those things on. No effin' way. Totally ridiculous. Do not try this at home!
Compression socks up to the knee (I find) are extremely comfortable. I wear them every day. Any shorter and they don't stay up.
I love them. LOVE.. I'll wear them until I'm over the postpartum bloat.
@dragonfly1809 wow five weeks!!
My little one is so active, I bet by the time I'm 37 weeks he will be able to knock the wind out of me when he kicks!!

@samuelismomma I’m sorry that you are so uncomfortable. One more week! You can do it!
@dragonfly1809 Wow 5 weeks! That is awesome!!!
@mandi195 Maybe she’ll calm down as she gets bigger and the punches and kicks won’t hurt as much? (A girl can dream, can’t she? LOL)
@mmheartspb I have been very bad about exercise and really haven’t done anything L
@uneek1323 I have an irrational fear of compression stockings – I’m not sure why.
@morethansparrows08 Sorry you are having problems sleeping L And I’m so glad you said that about the BH contractions not happening for you before. I told my sister that I was definitely experiencing some on Friday night when we were out and about and she scared me to death when she said that she never had any until like 2 weeks before she gave birth. Even though I know that every pregnancy is different – it’s nice to hear it from someone firsthand J
@pblge I’m 34 weeks this week and I have everything I need but everything isn’t in its place yet. I will do that right after Christmas so around 37ish weeks? I figure that if worse comes to worse, my sister will do it for me LOL
My goal was to have everything ready to go by 35 weeks, just in case. I have probably 90% of everything done. DH has to install the car seat, I need to do a last load of baby laundry, and set up the pack and play in our room. I like to be prepared

This time I'm not leaving without you.
@MoreThanSparrows08 are we secretly the same person? I could have written you post word for word. From the same sleeping issues, to the registry and the BH this is exactly the things I am dealing with daily. Nice to know I am not the only one.
@uneek1323 I don't have any experience with compression socks, but sounds like PP's have got you covered!
@pblge I am about 75% ready for LO now but am aiming to be fully ready, between christmas and new years which puts me between 35/36w. The timing of this is partly because by then my shower and xmas will be over (and I know I will be receiving gifts for LO) and partly because I feel like that is a good time to be ready. HTH!

*~*~* All AL Welcome*~*~*
I was doing T 25 before and in the beginning of my first trimester. I have been doing the cardio and speed ones, but modifying the more difficult things.
My problem right now is the nasty sinus infection I have. I was up in pain all last night and had to get an antibiotic. They also have me low dose prednisone but my OBGYN said to try the Amoxicillin first and if it doesn't work to take the prednisone.
