Zumba Incontinence

So today I went to the gym for the first time in a year. I've been using my pregnancies, losses, and IF as an excuse for too long, so I dusted off my very dusty gym shoes and headed to Zumba tonight. Well, I thought it was Zumba. But the Zumba instructor was sick, so instead we got this lady doing something called Werq. It's another dance workout thing but with pop/hip-hop music instead of Latin. Anyway... HOLY SHIT, THE PEEING. After having 1 kid, a D&C, and 3 hysteroscopies, my pelvic floor is like a freaking trap door. Every time I jumped or bounced, which was a lot during this Werq shit, a peed myself a little. I'm off to do a million Kegels now...

    Oh man! I'm sorry to hear that. I'm thankful for my (although extremely difficult) c-section, I guess? lol But good for you for getting to the gym! One step at a time!

    Ugh!  That sucks.  But good for you for getting to the gym!  I don't think I will ever be able to do a jumping jack without peeing ever again.  Oh well, I hate those things anyway.

    Oh Bookish, this made me laugh and want to give you a hug at the same time.  And I can also totally relate.  When I started half marathon training back in the fall one of my first long runs totally ended in me peeing myself.  I was so glad that I was close to home at that point!  Hope the next time is better, yay for getting back in to the gym!

    OMG I love WERQ!  It makes me feel like the hip hop model I am at heart (if you saw me IRL you would be peeing right now because of laughter).   Maybe you should create a zumba/werq pad women can wear? hahahah

    3/26/15 transferred one 8 cell grade 4 embryo and one 6 cell grade 3 embryo = slow rising betas for 2+ weeks = ectopic MTX shot 4/29/15
    Repeat c-scar surgery June 2015
    2nd and last IVF cycle August 2015, stimmed for 12 days, 2 egg retrieved, both mature and both fertilized.  Transferred both 8-cell embryos on Day 3, beta 9/5/15 = BFFN
    MOVING TO ADOPTION!

    The pad would have sparkles on it, obvs. Also, there was a tiny woman with a huge pregnant belly in my class who was kicking a lot more ass with the steps than I was.

    BFP #7 (beyond surprised again!) 4/26/16. EDD 1/5/17. beautiful betas!!!! and then near-fatal hemorrhagic corpus luteum. turns out baby was ectopic after all; another lap 5/6 (@24dpo).

    @frenchteachermama If only we lived closer to one another we could go to WERQ together... to justify all the wine we'd drink afterward, of course.  :)

    Absolutely.  I can tell already we would be dangerous friends (in a good way).  Every time I opened my fridge this morning, starting at 6:30am, I wanted to drink the nice bottle of sauvignon blanc I had chillin there
