Surprise pregnancy while prepping for FET

So, today I went in for my suppression check (have already been on BCP and Lupron subcu injections) as prepping for a FET for early December. I have had two failed fresh IVF cycles and was now moving on to frozen. The sonographer, asked , "why are you here again?" I said this is my suppression check. She said, "your're suppressed alright, you're pregnant!" She stated I was 6w4d...this makes now sense to me and plus I'm scared to death. I had a period on October 13 (and had a beta hcg on Oct 7 which was negative). So, now I was on BCP since Oct 15-Nov 4 and did 20 units lupron nightly from Oct 29-Nov 9. Excited, surprised (needless to say), but also very scared.
Anyone else with "similar" situation or advice??? Similar may be rare, even the sonographer said she has never seen this before :)

    No advice but that is crazy awesome!!! congrats!

    Married: 5/09 ~ TTC Since: 10/10 ~ PCOS ~ Progesterone from 10/10 - 2/11 ~ HSG on 3/18 - Clear ~ Started Metformin 1000mg & Clomid 50mg 2/11 ~ Metformin upped to 1500mg 4/6 ~ 6/7 Now going to SG and put on Clomid, Ovidrel, Gonal F, Prometrium, Estrace ~ IUI #1 7/2 = BFP!!!!!! March 6th our little man was born. 

    6/17/13 - Ovidrel, Follistim, Prometrium ~ IUI #1 7/2 = BFP! March 17th our St. Pattys day baby arrived

    10/29/17 - Started process for IVF, got pregnant & miscarried a 2nd time since summer. 2/22 started stims - Menopur, Gonal F, Cetrotide - retrieval 3/6 - , PIO, estrace 3xday - FET 4/18 = Beta 1: 616; Beta 2: 1342 = BFP

    both measuring right on track....2nd u/s... all is well... both beans measuring right on track... released from RE... first
    appointment with MFM 1/5.  Looks like this is really happening!

    Thanks for your responses and congrats :) Spoke with RE nurse this AM, she said all looks fine right now but that she is going to speak with the doc and call me back....I'm very excited but sooooooooooooooooo nervous since essentially was an "unplanned" pregnancy (never thought it was possible after the failed IVFs). I mean I can't even figure out when conception even possible happened ;)

My estrogen and progesterone are just a little low (prob due to lupron inj) so I will be taking estrace 2pills 2x/day and supporting progesterone with my choice (PIO or Crinone). I have to do a follow-up US next week and then maybe I'll know more...
    This is crazy....again, so happy but so scared that I didn't know for this long. Plus, no one can really figure out when I ovulated since I had my period mid October

    Congrats!  I would guess conception occurred prior to your beta (just not so much before that beta was positive).

    ~SAIF/PAIF/Everyone Welcome~ 

    Me= 37 and DH = 41 

    Dx: DOR, Endo, APA+ (really high beta 2 glycoprotein antibody and high everything else tested), heterozygous MTHFR mutation, positive for lupus anticoagulant, high FSH, low AMH and both tubes blocked (per HSG on 3/8/11)

    IVF #1 - long lupron (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 4 retrieved, 3 fertilized; ET 2 blasts and 1 frozen = BFN

    IVF #2 - a version of antagonist with EPP (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 6 retrieved, 4 mature, 3 fertilized, 2 blasts and 1 frozen blast transferred on day 5 = BFN.

    IVF #3 April was postponed to May, May was canceled. June/July was canceled. Had a cyst aspiration and then began IVF #3 in August. ER on 8/22; ET on 8/24 with AH. +HPT on 9/5. Beta #1 (11dpo) = 3; Beta #2 (15dpo) = 29; Beta #3 (17dpo) = 60; Beta #4 (19 dpo) = 118. Heartbeat at 6 weeks 6 days =132.  Lil is here!

    TTC#2:  Trigger + TI = BFN; Clomid + Trigger + IUI = BFN.

    IVF #4:  BCP + MDLF + Lovenox = 7R, 1F = Transferred 1 6-cell embryo on day 3 = BFN

    IVF #5:  MDLF + Lovenox = 4R, 1F = Transferred 1 10-cell compacting embryo on day 3 = BFN

    IVF #6:  (New RE):  Long Antagonist November 2014 (transferred two 8 cell grade 1 embryos and froze one blast) = BFN

    That's what I'm thinking and the RN explained that I could have kind of randomly ovulated and still had a period (which I did, like the most normal period I've had since I began the IVF process--I think because I had a month off meds when I had that period)...I guess we'll find out more when I go for another US. 
    I just really hope I didn't hurt the pregnancy with the not knowing...I never thought I'd be the person that didn't know they were pregnant

    @kylie002, I can only imagine.  But, there are many women who do all sorts of crazy and risky things while pregnant that have healthy pregnancies and healthy babies.  It isn't like you were being reckless or anything.  Saying some T&Ps that everything works out.  ((HUGS))

    Thank you all...I have a follow up US Friday, Nov 21... if all still going okay, my RE will then put me in the hands of my OB. Still very excited and very nervous at the same time...

    My follow-up ultrasound went well...measuring at 8.3 weeks on that day, HB at 180. I am now in the care of my OB, praying that all continues to go well :)

    Thanks everyone...I went in for my ultrasound and appt...I had very sadly had a missed miscarriage somewhere between 9-10 wks. 
    We are devastated...this was my first time ever pregnant...I was so excited not to have to go back to the RE again, excited for so many other things as well...
    I just feel so sad and angry...now I'll be 35 in a few days and holidays around the corner...I just don't know what to do...

    I'm so sorry for your loss.  I know that for those of us with issues, an unplanned pregnancy seems like a sign from the universe that finally something is going our way so to have that taken away is devastating.  Not to sound trite, but you will get through this.  Take some time to mourn and be extra nice to yourself and then you can start thinking about your next steps.

    I'm so sorry.

    Me 38 MH 41 - TTC since June 2010 - dx with Severe MFI. Straight to IVF with ICSI. IVF #1 - ER 06/13/12 - 9 Eggs Retrieved - 4 ICSI'd - only 2 fert. 06/15/12 - 2DT - 3 cell & 6 cell with fragmentation. Beta 06/29/12 - IVF #1 = BFN. 07/20/12 - WTF Appt -Told by our RE to quit IVF. Second Opinion from RE is good. IVF#2 - November 2012. Estradiol Pills Started 11/6. Stims start 11/16. ER 11/26 - 7 eggs retrieved - all mature. 4 fertilized with ICSI. ET 11/29 Transferred 3 embryos. Beta is 12/10. 1st Beta 81 2nd Beta 160 and 3rd beta 360!!! First U/S 12/21/12 - We saw one beautiful gest. sac. 2nd U/S is 01/04/2013 - H/B 183 02/05/13 - NT Scan - everything looks good and IT'S A BOY!  Aiden was born 08/20/2013.

    IVF #2 is in progress.  ER was 05/12/14 - 11 eggs retrieved, 8 fertilized with ICSI.  ET was 05/15/14 - we transferred 3 embryos as we did on the cycle my son was conceived.  We were able to freeze 3 embryos. Beta is scheduled for 05/26/14.  1st beta - 111.  2nd beta - 159 didn't double :( 3rd beta Friday 5/30) - not a lot of hope left. Beta # 3 is 247 - probably ectopic.  Beta # 4 is 813 - possibly vanishing multiple sydrome?  06/05/14 - 5w4days - first U/S - we see a gestational sac and yolk - still have hope!  06/17/14 - 7w1day - U/S and saw and heard the heartbeat - Finally!  06/27/14 - 8w4days - Baby and heartbeat look and sound great :)  EDD 02/01/14 and It's a boy!
