So I went to see my GP last week and we agreed to start back on the celexa. I told her that I had also been prescribed klonopin to take if I felt a panic attack coming on but she ignored that and didn't order a refill.

Because I'm a giant chicken I didn't say anything and now as our trip grows closer in really regretting not asking. The last time I flew unmediated it did not go well.

Also- the celexa is still sitting in my purse unopened.

Yes. Start taking your Celexa as prescribed, and call and ask about the Klonopin. She should be able to prescribe you something to take "as needed" for those high anxiety situations.

I'll have to get another appointment to get a refill on the klonopin because it is a controlled substance. Blergh.

I meant to start the Celexa yesterday but then totally forgot to whilst dealing with the sickies. I'm going to get a diet Dr. Pepper and a knife so I can cut it in half. Yay for having anxiety about anxiety medication.
