How to surprise my husband with the baby's gender?

I found out today what the baby's gender was, by accident, even though I wanted to wait. So, I'd like to surprise my husband with a creative reveal... With Christmas approaching I was thinking of incorporating the holiday... I don't want to do anything common, like the cake colors, or a simple envelope with the ultrasound picture. Any ideas?

Maybe a Christmas ornament to show the sex? Or just an outfit wrapped up. You could have it be hiding in the tree and have it be his last gift to open on Christmas morning.

I would wrap something for him. Maybe one balloon? Or a teddy bear dressed like that gender.

@FreddyisReady‌ I went in today for our 20 weeks ultrasound and told the tech I didn't want to know... Which was going great, until she called in a doctor to verify something (because of the position "it" was in) on the scan, and his first words were "Let's see what's going on with this little man of yours..."

That is my biggest worry also. I'm surprised it was the doc who spilled the beans, though I suppose they're human also

I am planning on getting a gender specific baby's first christmas ornament, but dating it 2015. We always do an ornament exchange, so it is a natural flow.

My idea was simple but oh so funny (to us). We have been convinced we were having a boy from day one. Both of us had our hearts set on a boy. The boys name was decided from day one. So when I found out it was in fact a boy before DH got home from work, I thought of a tricky plan. I put on a pink sweatshirt. When he pulled up, I greeted him outside and said I had finally heard the results of the Harmony Test. I explained the baby was healthy, YAY! And that I was wearing a hint as to what we are having. He gave a faint smile and we both walked inside. He went to the bedroom to take off his dress clothes, and I asked... "So... do you have any guesses!?" He replied, "Well, its a girl." pretty flatly. So I lifted up my shirt, underneath my pink sweatshirt I had a black cami on with a blue ribbon around my waist tied in a bow and a cute little tag tied it that said "Hi Daddy!! My name is Killian Shane!" His face lit up and we both laughed! He was such a good sport.

Edited because I'm silly and put "sweater" instead of "sweatshirt" and the lack of continuity bothered me.
