Perfect Pump Bag

Hey ladies!

So for starters, I am new to this board. Expecting my first (It's a BOY) on 12/21, although its looking like a possible induction this week. I posted this in my D14 board and only got one reply and then remembered there is an entire group on here dedicated to breastfeeding so I figured I'd give it a try with you ladies. So this is technically a re-post.

So I got my free pump a while back. I went with Medela PIS. I chose not to upgrade to the one with the bag etc.

So I was wondering if anyone had any good recommendations on bags...

I want something discreet for when I go to work. Not huge but enough room for the pump, bottles, ice pack and parts. Maybe even something with an insulated section. (I don't want a lunch bag). Ive browsed online but havent found any obvious contenders so figured Id try you ladies!

TIA

Re: Perfect Pump Bag

  • Good luck with the induction!

As far as a bag - I just use a random tote with a zipper for my pump, and I got an insulated lunch bag for my parts and pumped milk. I'm not sure what you mean by discreet, it's not see through or anything. Good luck!

  • I used a Fischer Price Diaper Backpack and it worked perfectly!
  • I use my old gym bag- since I'm not making it to the gym these days anyway!  https://athleta.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=46881&vid=1&pid=906309022
It fits my pump, the small cooler with 4 bottles, and my lunch.

But 31 does have some awesome tote bags for a pretty reasonable price.
  • I love the suggestions ladies thank you! I'll be looking into all of them. My girlfriend is actually have a thirty-one party next week so I'll hold off on buying til then to see if there are any I like! Didn't even think of them. A tote is what I have in mind but not huge yet big enough to hold all of it and serve as my "purse" since I don't plan to use a purse anymore and just pt what I need in a wristlet in the diaper bag (which diaper bag won't come to work with me but obviously pump will).
