I have been waiting for this all day!
We did renovations in every room when we first bought our house.
The first three photos are the before photos.
The fourth photo is the after photo taken the morning of our house warming party 4.5 yrs ago.
The rest are photos that I snapped this AM of a few different angles.

I love that it is an eat-in kitchen and that I have lots of space to move around. The layout works for us, so that's one thing we didn't change, but I would love an island in a future kitchen. I LOVE our supersized walk-in pantry. You can kind of see it in the third before picture. It's gigantic and I love it, but right now it is a dumping ground. Counter space is adequate for our needs, so no complaints. I like our cabinets, and I love the new fixtures we put on them. Our appliances are fine. I love our gas cooktop - use it daily! I wish we had more freezer space, but that's life. The wall color is not my favorite anymore... But I really don't want to put the effort in to re-paint. Our kitchen was an addition to our 200 yr old house by the previous owners. It is a step down from the family room and kind of quirky, which I like (not pictured).

I think that's it... Overall I like our kitchen. It feels comfy

It's a good thing my wife isn't on The Bump---she would be SO jealous of your kitchens, ladies. The space! The pantries! WOW. Her dream is to expand our kitchen out the back...obviously a major renovation in the financial plan for the long term future.

Me, I'm happy with it and think it is well laid out for a small space..but she does 99% of the cooking and it's her number one hobby, so I totally get it. If I'm home alone, I'm eating cereal for dinner. Thank God for her.

Ha ha that is so funny guys because I have also been waiting for this thread!!!

Here is our kitchen. We have only been here a few months so we haven't renovated. I think eventually I'd like to redo the floors and eventually we'll buy a table for the open space (we have a separate dining room as well).

I love to cook but I also love to not cook.

This is our kitchen (picture taken from the steps going to the upper level.) There are now stools at the pub table. We can't wait to replace those white laminate countertops with granite/silestone/quartz - hopefully in the next year. We've lived here 10 years (almost 11!)

before & after. (backwards) Sorry about the mess after-- we never got a good, clean picture with the backsplash. The cabinets now go to the ceiling with a nice crown moulding.

renovated about 4? years ago. we love it

i want to take everything with us to the next house lol

@CrazyAunt84‌ Look at all those jars!!! I have a few pickles left, some jam and loads of relish! We didn't get any peaches in Ohio this year because of the polar vortex, and I missed canning those. I am totally impressed with your stash!

Well our kitchen is pretty basic, we rent so we won't be renovating our outdated kitchen. :-) I do love the double ovens though.

I wish peaches grew in NY - those sound wonderful! I did mostly green beans, tomatoes, and pepper jelly this year. I still had some pickles and pickled peppers from last year. This summer we planted apple and plum trees so I can make sauces, butters, and jams in a few years!

They grow in NJ- why not NY?

@CrazyAunt84‌, even if there is a cold-hardy peach, it may not be worth it. We can grow peaches in Mass but they aren't that good...it's just not the climate for them. Stick with your apples, plums and cherries!

We rent, so have no control over our 1960's kitchen.

Most of you have beautiful, modern kitchens, which are awesome; I'm out on a limb here with our very old, very real, not very clean kitchen. Keeping it real, folks.

I love the two shelves I put in this spring, and enjoy spending time at our kitchen table. I do love the huge walk in pantry and the postcards we clip to the pantry door.

The shelves are currently holding our advent calendar envelopes, which have 30 Acts of Kindness in them.

Edited to add that this big picture is from when I first put the shelves in, and I really like the picture, so why not add it? The lei on the window are ones either I made or was given.

The picture of the sink is really funny, I realize now.

Here are the funny things:

That is a pear scone on the lone plate on the burner. I made them for breakfast and no one ate that one.

The crockpot is holding cheesy potatoes and peas for a potluck tonight. It is ridiculously cheesy because I was trying to use up cheese sticks, which apparntly no one in my house likes.

The two bowls next to the sink? The bottom one is holding our last surviving goldfish who lived outside. Yesterday I cleaned out and drained his pond, so now he is moving to be a classroom fish at my work, but that will happen tonight.

The half an onion on the counter? Well, that's a half an onion on my counter.

Our kitchen is pretty functional and not TOO dated (cabinets are from the 90s, not the 60s!), so we've only made cosmetic upgrades. We repainted when we moved in, we replaced the countertops (since we know we'll probably redo the whole kitchen in 5-10 years, we just replaced horrible cracked laminate with less-horrible laminate), my wife tiled the backsplash with subway tile (before that it matched the horrible cracked laminate) and we replaced the sink, stove and microwave, more for functional reasons. It's not my dream kitchen by any means, but I'm pretty happy with it considering we haven't put a ton of work into it.

We just moved into a small apartment and you can't see the kitchen because of all the boxes so here is the kitchen of the condo we just moved out of. It's my favorite of all the places L and I have lived.

I'm late, but I wanted to play, just didn't know where the pictures were.

This is from before we moved in, but we haven't changed much, just added some rugs and curtains. I really don't like this kitchen, but since it's recently remodeled we won't change it for quite some time. We plan on paining the lower half of the wall next to the little shelf thing with chalkboard paint for M and the bottom part of the shelf used to have a door so we are going to put the door back and make it his cupboard. I'd much prefer a white kitchen with bright colors and a gas stove; one of these days.
