Hi, I'm new to the bump. H and I  just took a stab at trying for our first so we're in our first two week wait. I just got off HBC last month after being on it for about ten years so I'm not entirely sure what my cycle stands to look like at this point. I do know I have a very obsessive personality though, so I'm holding off on temping for a few months. I'm just not ready to drive myself crazy yet, which I know temping will do to me. I get a lot of EWCM so that's what we went off of for this month until I can get a feel for my natural cycle and decide to start really charting. 

Aside from babymaking, I live in NY wine country and have a crazy chocolate lab. H and I bought an 80-some year old fixer upper that we've put a lot of love into the last few years, and I'm an avid triathlete. We had to decide between starting a family and racing an Ironman, and ultimately family won out, so that's where we're at now =)

I'm excited to meet everyone and jump in on the baby and TTGP chatter!

    You ladies make a lot of sense. Maybe I'll grab a BBT thermometer tonight. I have some errands to run anyways, so I might just add that to the list.

    Hi there! Welcome and best of luck. I agree with PP, BBT thermometers are a wonderful thing. Fertility Friend is an awesome app to record your BBT, among other many other things, to help you figure out when you are ovulating!

    Welcome. I agree about the temping. I absolutely hate being left in the dark about my O date.

    Welcome!
    BBT both tempers and incites my crazy.  It calms me down because I know that I don't have to guess or Google things, it makes me a little cray because if my temp is wonky it can throw off my day...

    I'm obsessive as well and temping definitely reins in the crazy a bit for me. It tells me that everything's okay, I haven't ovulated yet or that okay, I Oed so Ill be getting me period in the next 2 or so weeks. Makes me focus on the data instead of the stress of wanting to be pregnant.
