I just hate that names need to be uncommon and unique these days. Because all children are special little snowflakes that need crazy, made up, misspelled names in order to not squash their spirits.

That's why I suggested the Bible. There are some weird ass names in there, but at least they're names and not random nouns. But if we are suggesting random nouns, I like Power Ranger.
Since OP hasn't come back to visit, I'm going to use this as an opportunity to ask opinions of our potential boy name... Malachi. Yay or nay?
Hate it. Reminds me of Children of the Corn. Sorry.

Haha, this made me laugh out loud.
It's always been my guilty pleasure name, but my husband happened to love it when I mentioned it, so it became an option. It's a Biblical name (he's a pastor). Plus, I thought Kai would be a good nickname. Thanks for the opinions, ladies! We aren't discussing names with friends or family because it was a giant pain naming our daughter.... My mother still refers to her as the name we didn't choose. So, it's nice to bounce the idea off of someone.

Thank you for taking my comment well. It's always nice when people ask for opinions and can handle honest ones.
We had never made the Children of the Corn connection until you mentioned it. Glad you did. Dodged a bullet.
I hate to waste this on a drive-bye SS who hasn't even come back to read our suggestions, but I like this pic. And I am sure I will have a chance to use it again soon. Andplusalso, I think you ladies on here who have responded might enjoy it as well
@Rowsdower85, I really like Malachi! My husband is not a fan, so it's never been on our list. I've never seen Children of the Corn. My first mental connection is to Malachy McCourt (author/actor).
I have a friend that has a 3 year old Malachi.. but spelled Malekai. He goes by Kai, I don't think any one has actually called him Malekai since he was born, because she found that most people can't pronounce or spell it so she got tired of dealing with it and just introduces him as Kai now(H named him). He gets the occasional "Mally", but for the most part, he's just Kai. NMS, but, I do like Kai.
Re: Baby boy name suggestions?
Megatron is not my style. I love Optimus, nickname Oppie.

That's how it is pronounced normally.
